just killing dead parts of myself to make room for the new.

lia did that a lot, killing parts of her self off to make room for even worse parts which would eat away at her soul, and she'd still be reading when it finishes. when it finishes rotting her away, the book would still lay in her lap. dark blue cover, gold lining and words . she read this book for ours at end, trying to make sense of her self.  today was part of the routine. enter the library, sit at regular desk turned right in front of the bakery, beautiful sunlight coming through and start going through her book, aimlessly looking for details she could force herself to piece together.

she went to the library at hanlim, eurocentrism reeked from the walls but nobody minded, in fact it was beautiful, why would they?

lia fixed her tie, approaching her particular desk, a brooding figure standing right at it, chatting. 'could you please move, both of you?' she asked , irritated. her face didn't show it though, it wore a smile. the boy turned, lia stumbling back a few. another new kid. soobin. as he spun around, his dimples bored into his cheeks, though he was hardly smiling at all. 'yes, do i know you?' he asked, bending down to reach her face. she stepped back 'y-you and your friend are standing at my seat, she said, shifting her eyes from the floor, to his eyes, to the girl he was previously talking with.

'sure' he said, taking a piece of paper from his pocket and a random pen on the table and sketching his number on it. 'there, bye'. the girl he was standing with looked stunned, and soobin had already half way walked to the entrance by the time she had realized he was there.

lia  breathed in and out, sitting down at the table and picking up the blue book as she read it and wrote down notes to her heart's content. after an hour of countless highlights and additional sticky notes, lia rose from her chair, getting ready to go home as she saw txt talking to each other. they were situated in a class room a few meters away  from the library. she peeked slightly into the room, her tote bag daring to spill its contents as she properly mounted it on her shoulder.

'you fuckers realize this isn't reality, right?' lia twitched in her position. yeonjun then spoke ' but beomgyu, you have to admit that this place is much better than your shitty home. ' stop talking about my family, you piece of crap'. 'can both of you shut up, mr. jinyoung said he'll get us apartments, this is good guys, i don't think it's some weird dream, maybe things are just looking up for us' added soobin, leaving beomgyu irritated. 'well i'm going to find a way out of here, with or without you virgins' he said, storming out of the room and almost catching lia in her uninventive hiding space.

lia breathed faster, bending down so the boys wouldn't realize she had passed the large windows, he height surely helped her in this sense. she ran out of the school entrance , trying her best not to stumble on her platforms. her eyes glistened, but she knew it wasn't true. those boys were just weirdos right?
