I'm so proud that marriage is legal for everyone now. This is a very huge step for the U.S.A. But what I don't understand is why there are about two or three states that haven't let it be legal for them yet.
What if everything was backwards. What if everyone was gay or lesbian, and it was bad if you were straight. Then what?
People base an opinion on somebody's sexual orientation, rather than who they really are.
How come it's such a big deal that a man loves another man? Or a woman loves another woman? Love is love regardless.
A lot of people are saying same-sex marriage is the devil's work because the bible says love should be between one man and one woman. The bible also says you shouldn't base judgement on each other, divorce is wrong, and that you should love one another as I have loved you. God also created everyone is his own image. So therefore He made made everyone, even the ones that were born gay or born lesbian.
And people are going around saying "God hates gays." But in the bible and in church they preach that God loves all of his children equally. So how come there is so much hate surrounding these people. They are humans just like the people who choose to be straight. But people don't whine and complain about the straight people. So why do people whine and complain about the people who aren't straight?
