Takashi (narrating): I stayed up late before the day my life changed. I was worried about Rei's sudden breakup with me. She left me with Hisashi, who was my friend. I never thought she would break up with me, but I was a jerk back then. I wished I could go back in time and undo my mistakes. But then I remembered hope through the Final Fantasy games. They gave me hope to restore my relationship with Rei. I'm just waiting for the right moment to apologize to her and maybe restart our relationship and our promise we made when we were younger: Rei and I would get married, sign the contract, and be happy. But then, Rei bursted through the door with a surprised look on her face.
Rei: Takashi! Have you seen the news?!
Takashi: What?
As Takashi looked on his phone for the news, he was surprised at what Rei was talking about.
Takashi: OH MY GOD!!!
There was an MMO Remake of the Final Fantasy Series called Final Fantasy MMO. It stars as four warriors of light making their way across a world lying in darkness to restore light to the crystals. There was even a meeting place for the first people who could sign up for the MMO.
Takashi: Wait a minute, Rei. You play Final Fantasy?
Rei: OH, my god! You play Final Fantasy, Takashi!?
Takashi: Yeah. It gave me hope when you broke up with me and started dating Hisashi.
Rei: What? No. No, that's not why I broke up with you. I mean, you were a jerk, but I thought, maybe if I dated another guy and showed you how everyone can change, maybe you'd find a way to forget the mistakes you made and remember our promise to find happiness.
Takashi: Well, that actually worked since Final Fantasy restored hope within me. Hey, let's sign up for Final Fantasy MMO. We'll be great together!
Rei: Yeah! Let me see the styles and... wait. There's something on here. A new role. "Giantess?" What one is that?
Takashi: Hmm. The Giantess is a knight who's accidently gone through a magic spell that allowed her to grow 100 ft tall. She has been chosen with the mega crystal that once lit up the world and allows her to guide her fellow warriors of light towards Cornellia to begin their journey to restore the crystals.Hey, Rei. what if you were the Giantess?
Rei: Oh, yeah. I've always wanted to be flirty and seducive towards you.
Takashi: So what are we waiting for? I'll be the Warrior.
So Takashi signed up as the Warrior and the Giantess. Then the meeting place pointed out to Kabukicho, Shinjuku, Japan. So that's where they went, since the game starts in midnight. They took the last train and went towards the location in Kabukicho, Hotel Gracery Shinjuku, where three others were waiting for them.
Takashi: You the first players, too?
Rei: Hey, Takashi, maybe the meeting place is in the 30th floor because, we're part of the team.
Issei: Uh, excuse me. I'm the one who's waiting for the team.
Rias: I'm waiting for them.
Akeno: I'm gonna be the leader of the team!
Rei: No, me and my boyfriend and our three other members, well we never met them cause we only know them by their gamer tags, Oppai Dragon, Twilight Princess, and Lightning Goddess. We were supposed to meet them...
Rias: Yuu-chan!
Akeno: Yeah, you're Yuu-chan!
Rei: Twilight Princess. Lightning Goddess.
Takashi: Let me guess: Oppai Dragon?
Issei: Knight Light. Okay, so maybe the prize has something to do with meeting here in the game and...
Rias: Issei! Look! It's midnight.
Suddenly, a bright light flashed in their eyes and they were brought into a strange land. That's when their story... begins.
