More Than a Friend

Chapter 11

"Kyle?" I heard Stan call my name from the hallway. I didn't want him to see me like this. I tried to stop, but the tears kept coming out. He door opened and Stan saw me on the ground. "Kyle! Are you ok?!" Stan said with a worried look on his face.

I wiped my tears away. "I-I'm fine..." I replied. He knelt down to me and put his hands on my shoulders. "It's ok. You can tell me. I'm always here for you." His voice was soft and tender. I couldn't help it. I jumped up and hugged him.

"They w-wrote horrible things! They called me a 'fag' and 'queer' and more!!" I cried in Stan's shoulder. He hugged back. "It's alright, Kyle. I will protect you."

Stan walked me home and excused us from school. My parents were out of town for a meeting in Canada. When we got home, he put me in my room.

"Here, get some rest. I will go make you some hot chocolate." I nodded, and he closed the door. *yawn!* I guess I am tired. I lay down on the bed and fall in a deep sleep.

I go back up to the room and see Kyle sleeping. Heh, he's pretty cute when he sleeps. I set down the mug and let him sleep. I have to find out who did this to him!

When I get back to the school, I see Angella by her locker. I'm pretty sure she can help me. I tap on her shoulder and she turns around. "Oh, hey Stan! What's up?" She answers with a smile. I like that about her. Always smiling. "Ang, I need your help. Someone wrote horrible things on Kyle's locker!"

She gasped. "What?! Show me the locker!" I nodded and raced down to the vandalized locker. When we got there, Angella just stared. "I think I know who did this. But I need more prove. Follow me."

She leads me to the computer lab and she sits down to a Mac. "What are you doing?" I ask, looking over her shoulder. "I'm hacking into the schools website. There, I can hack into the database with the series of code I have in my head and get to the security. It may or may not take a while to get into the security, due to the new cameras. It's hard, but not impossible." She keeps on typing, then says, "Ah ha! Got it!"

The screen shows 2 hours before. Then, we see a figure go up to Kyle's locker and spray the horrible words. Then the figures turns around.
