Arizona woke later that morning still with Georgia in her arms. She looked so peaceful. Arizona just wished she knew what was said on the phone to make her break down as she did. Georgia moved in her sleep and wrapped her free arm around Arizona's waist which caused Arizona to get butterfly's in her stomach. There was a knock on the door and Timothy poked his head into the room.
Timothy whispering; oh, sorry. I didn't know you were together like that.
Robbins whispering; we are not. She was crying when I came up so I hugged her and she fell asleep in my arms. I don't even think she is into women.
Timothy; okay... Mom said breakfast is in 15 minutes.
Robbins; okay, be down in a bit.
Timothy shut the door and left them to it. Arizona brushed Georgia's hair behind her ear to gently wake her.
Russell; mmm...
Robbins; GiGi. It's time to wake up.
Russell; I'm so sorry I fell asleep on you. I didn't mean to.
Robbins; oh don't worry about it. It's fine. Are you okay? You were in quite a state after your phone call.
Russell; yeah everything will be fine.
Robbins; you know you can tell me what happened if you want.
Russell teary-eyed; no, I mean I will. It's just I can't. Not yet.
Robbins; okay. When you are ready. I'll be here.
Russell; thanks Az.
Robbins; changing the subject, happy Christmas. My mom's got breakfast going.
Later at breakfast, Barbara had made pancakes with bacon and eggs. Georgia thought this was a very odd combination seen as when she grew up pancakes were a sweet food and normally would have them for dessert, not breakfast.
Daniel; so Georgia, what was your childhood like?
Russell; well sir... Sorry, Daniel. I grew up just outside of London with my mum. It was just the two of us. My father left when I was 2. My grandmother disowned my mum when she was pregnant with me and then again when I was 18 because of my sexuality and I lost my foot when I was 17.
Barbara; I'm sorry to hear that about your grandmother.
Russell; I'm not missing anything, she just couldn't accept the possibility of me liking women.
Timothy; what happened to your foot?
Daniel; Timothy, that's rude.
Russell; no, no, it's fine honestly, I was in an accident where my foot and ankle were crushed and couldn't be saved so I had it amputated.
Robbins laughed; she told me a fox bit it off.
Russell; I was joking though. It was hard to adjust to having a prosthetic but I'm used to it now.
The conversation carried on and Arizona leant over to whisper to Georgia.
Robbins; I didn't know you were gay.
Russell; we haven't been friends long and to be honest, I don't know really. I haven't been with anybody since I was 18... That doesn't mean I'm going to sleep with you.
Robbins; so you keep reminding me.
They all enjoyed their Christmas day and Georgia even got a small token gift from Barbara and Daniel. It was a lot later in the evening and only Arizona and Georgia were left awake watching crappy Christmas movies. Georgia had her head resting on Arizona's shoulder.
