The next morning Georgia woke up hungover and could not remember how she got home, she checked her phone seeing she had tried to contact Arizona multiple times making her remember Arizona left with no explanation. She tried to call Arizona again with no luck. Georgia couldn't understand what she had done to upset her. She spent her whole morning wondering. While walking to the hospital she had the realisation of what it might've been and remembered everything that happened the night before.
Russell thinking; oh crap, I kissed Ed. Oh my God, I nearly had sex with him. Oh crap, what if that's why she left and has ignored me... No. She doesn't like me like that... Does she?
As Georgia entered the locker room she felt all eyes were on her. The whole room went silent.
Baker; morning George.
Russell; why is everybody staring at me?
Baker; Ed's told them all what happened after you left together.
Russell; fuck.
Baker; yeah, if you need me...
Campbell interrupted; don't even try it, Baker, she's a cock tease. She will get you all worked up then push you away last minute.
Georgia scoffed then was just about to say something but Chris butt in.
Baker; fuck off Ed. Leave her alone.
Ed just laughed and left the locker room.
Baker; you okay?
Russell; not really. Would much rather go home than work. Everyone thinks I'm a tease and my best friend won't speak to me.
Arizona then walked into the room to grab some bits but completely blanked Georgia.
Russell; Az...
Arizona just walked straight out of the room again. Chris pulled Georgia into a comforting hug.
Baker; she saw it all, didn't she.
Russell; I think so. Can you keep a secret?
Baker; of course, your keeping mine.
Russell; I think I like her, like more than a friend.
Baker; you need to tell her that.
Russell; I can't. You saw how she just blanked me. It'll only hurt me more if she rejects me too. Ooo, I don't know.
Baker; well she is going to have to speak to you, you work together.
Russell; good point... Let's go.
The rest of the evening didn't go well either, every time Georgia tried to talk to Arizona she would walk away unless it was something to do with work and to top it all they were put on neuro, Georgia's worst speciality. She hated it, brains freaked her out. On her break, Georgia went to the cafeteria, after she brought her food she spotted Arizona sitting alone. Taking a big breath she walked over and sat opposite her.
Russell; can we talk?
Robbins; is it about work?
Russell; no.
Robbins getting up; then no, we can't.
Arizona walked away, throwing her rubbish in the bin before leaving the cafeteria.
Russell; Arizona?
Chris had seen the whole interaction and sat next to Georgia. Putting an arm around her shoulder to comfort her.
Russell; you saw that right?
Baker; I did. What are you going to do?
Russell; I don't know. I've got some vacation time to take so I might take it. Go home to see my mum.
