Chapter 11

Skylar's pov
"So... we were wondering if you could help us train for the soccer tournament." Sadie asked me as I shrugged and nodded.

"Taylor your a basketball player kick as hard as you can." Sadie said guiding right in front of me.

"No no! She passes hard!" I yelled before she kicked the ball making me not wanna catch it.

I ducked and the ball went in.

"Bruh." Layla said as I rolled my eyes.

"Chill!! I haven't played in literally awhile!" I said as Taylor kicked another one at me.

"Wait... you didn't get on the team?" Sadie asked me.

"No I didn't try out. I don't wanna play and get attention anymore. It's boring." I said before Layla threw a soccer ball at me.

"YOU DONT PLAY FOR ATTENTION!!" She yelled at me.

"YOU PLAY FOR THE FUN!" She yelled kicking the ball at my legs making me fall.

"Damn..." I said sitting on the ground.

"Your trying out wether you like it or not." She said and I rolled my eyes.

"Cmon block it." Sadie said kicking the ball directly to my face.

I caught it before it could touch me.

"That's it." She said kicking another ball to the left.

I quickly got up diving for it and hitting it the other way.

Sadie kicked the ball to the right making me run and dive.

"My turn." Taylor said kicking it.

I shoved the ball out of the goal not letting it in.

"How do you kick so goddamn hard! Your not even a soccer player your a basketball player!!" I yelled out of breath.

She laughed at me as I rolled my eyes.

Anna's POV
"Okay well... let's just go and practice. There's a soccer tournament soon." Hadley said and I shrugged and nodded.

"They need two teams which people from all over the states are coming." Kayla said.

"All you have to do is enter a form. They pick people mostly by their status." Laci said.

"Oh. Cool." I mumbled.

"Your most likely to win if your soccer captain so get your head in the game." Kayla said.

We had reached the field to see people already on it.

"Ooh... players maybe we can have a 4v4..." Kayla said counting the people on the field.

"Is that... Skylar? That girl you were talking to?" Hadley asked.

"Ooh she's good." Laci said.

"Oh we got company..." I heard as I saw Skylar look up.

We were on the field while my friends were stretching.

"Oh my god stop is that... your girlfriend Skylarr." I heard seeing one of girls dramatically say.

"Stop it." I heard Skylar speak up.

I picked a soccer ball kicking it at Skylar before she caught it and looked at me.

"Nice reflex." I said and she kicked back at me making me smile.

We didn't speak again for half an hour when Hadley pushed me forward.

"Ladies!" They yelled making me roll my eyes.

"Go ahead ask them Anna." Kayla said.

"We were wondering if you'd like to play a 4v4..." I said as they all shrugged and nodded.

All of them did except one which was Skylar.

"Yeahhh no." She said walking off the field.

"Yes. We will do it. Skylar can just stop being a bitch." We heard as she dragged Skyler by her wrist.

"Jesus... fine. We'll play if it gets you off my back." She said before bing elbowed by her friend.

"Damn." She whined.

"Alright. Let's play..." Laci said.

We had no goalie so we placed Laci to be our goalie for now.

"3..2..1... go." I said taking the ball first.

I ran around the people before reaching Skylar. I kicked the ball to upper right corner but Skylar blocked it easily.

"Try harder next time." She said.

"Oh who's the flirt now?" I asked her and she looked up.

She got all flustered and I could only smirk at the amount of control I have over her.

It was mainly on me and Skylar but she kept blocking ever shot I gave her.

"Cmon shumate don't let her block it!!" I heard as I kicked it as hard as I can.

The ball has tripped her feet which made her fall and hit her head. Shit.

I ran over to see if I did any major damage but she just laid there staring at the net.

"Heyooo... hellooo?" I said when she finally looked at me.

"Anything hurting?" I asked her grabbing her hand and pulling her up.

"My head hurts." She said and I let out a laugh.

Sadie's pov
"Are you guys doing the tournament?" We heard seeing Anna's friends.

"Oh yeah! The summerton one!" Layla yelled.

"She's not she plays basketball." I said pointing at Taylor.

"And is that girl doing it? Because we know Anna is entering." They asked us pointing at Skylar.

"No I don-" Taylor was shaking before I cut her off.

"Of course she is." I said and they all nodded walking away.

"And how do you possibly think were gonna get Skylar to do the tournament or enter?" Layla asked me.

"I... have no idea." I said.
