Tommy took his time to look at the rundown girls home called St.Margaret's. Since he knew he wanted to find Micheal and Anna he made it his top priority. After finding out Anna was well and alive he took it upon himself to find the her.

Stepping out of the car he observed the poor place his young cousin had to stay at. Mold growing along the trimmings of the apartment-like building, overgrown weeds surrounding the property, as well as a cross sitting in the front of the home.

"Fuckin' ell." He grunted, throwing his cigarette down as he walked to the door.

Banging his fist against the padlocked door, looking down when a small redhead peaks through the crack, seemingly not aloud to be doing this.

He gives the little girl a half smile not wanting to scare her off.

"Fiona if you don't get your arse away from that door!" He heard a nagging voice yelling from inside the home.

The door opened revealing an older woman. Greying curly hair framed her wrinkly face, with cold sunk in eyes with a matching sneer.

"Can I help you sir?"

Clearing his throat lightly he straightened up hoping this would go easily.

"Yes you can. I am looking for my cousin Anna Gray. Birth name Sallyanna. We found her records and I'd like to take her back home where she belongs." He told the brute lady with a tone that said this is non negotiable.

Mary looked at the handsome man wondering why in hell he'd want to come get one of these useless girls. Yet she couldn't see any reason why Anna was of use to her considering all she ever did was read or sit there and look pretty.

"I'll be back in a moment, she doesn't have much to pack so just wait here."

Tommy blinked as the door slammed shut leaving him to his thoughts. He didn't realize how easy it'd be to get Anna out of this place, yet first look in he knew the lady could care less about these girls.

Leaning on the front of the car he waited for his cousin to come out. Thomas was curious as to what she'd grown to look like. From what he remembered she had the Grays brown eyes, warm skin, and auburn brown hair. He'd hoped she hasn't gotten into much trouble and that she stayed the quiet girl who preferred a good book over company.

His ears perked up at the creak of the door opening, walking out an obviously confused and timid Anna.

He didn't say anything for a moment. Thomas couldn't believe how grown she was. It made sense after seeing Michael that they weren't babies anymore, but turning into a man versus a woman was different. She had matured yet still had her youthful, innocent features giving her an aura of elegance that only Polly Gray's daughter would have.

"Can I help you sir?" Sallyanna asked the strange yet familiar man.

"Would you mind sitting in the car? It might be a lot to take in eh?"

Anna's gaze finally met his icy blue eyes. They were one of the most intimidating things she'd seen in a long time.

Crossing her arms over her chest she averted her gaze from his eyes, "I'm not getting in a car with a man I don't know." She told him sharply.

Thomas had to hold back a chuckle, definitely Polly Gray's daughter, he thought to himself.

"Listen I know this may be strange and sudden but I'm your cousin. I recently found you brother Micheal and brought him home to reunite with your mother, Polly. You can choose to believe me or not, but clearly anything is better than this place your living in."

Anna's breath caught in her throat at the mention of her brother and her mum. She vividly remembers the traumatizing day when she was taken from them. The screams of her mother replay in her head at night, begging her to come home.

Quickly wiping the unshed tears from her eyes she dropped her bag rummaging through until she pulled out a small gold box.

Her nimble fingers popped open the lock, her eyes not daring to look inside knowing she'd start crying.

"Look at this picture and tell me if this is the woman you know as Polly. Don't lie to me please." Anna told him with a shaky voice, revealing her vulnerability about her mother.

Tommy took the small box in his hands while gently peering inside to see a picture. Lifting it up he saw an 18 year old Polly Gray, similar to what Anna looks like now.

He pulled out the picture while grabbing her hand and pulling her fingers open. He folded the paper, placing it on her palm and gently shutting her hand. Anna looked at the man with a confused look, until she saw the smile on his face.

"That's her Sallyanna. I promise you." He told her showing his true emotions for once knowing how hard this was on the family, especially Polly and Anna herself.

Unable to stop the tears Anna released a soft sob, suddenly clinging to Tommy's torso muttering broken thank you's over and over.

Freezing lightly at the contact he eventually melted into the hug reaching to give her head a few pats while rubbing her back comfortably.

Pulling away after a minute Anna looked up at her cousin slightly embarrassed for ruining his nice suit with tears and snot. Tommy chucked lightly handing her his handkerchief to wipe her nose and under her eyes.

"Right, enough of the dramatics miss Gray, but I do believe we need to get going hmm?"

Smiling up at him Anna nodded her head, "yes alright let's go."

He followed the young girl into the car after setting her one bag inside, starting it up and looking to his cousin before leaving the property.

A comfortable silence filled the air until a thought popped into Anna's head

"Erm what was your name again?" She asked her cousin, looking over at him with a curious gaze.

"Thomas, Thomas Shelby. But you can just call me Tommy."
