Anna gazed at herself in the reflection, freshly cleaned from having taken a bath. She's never seen such a fancy set up for a bathroom, her doll like skin now smelt of lavender soaps and oils instead of the grime scent left from living at St.Margaret's. She'd left her hair dry considering it was still put together in its curly state.

She got dressed finding a pale pink, long sleeved dress in her trunk. Her eyes admired the flared ruffle at the ends of her sleeves, seeing as it went to right below her knees and fitted at the waist, she deemed it appropriate to wear. Strapping on a pair of white kitten heels, Anna put on her favorite necklace and made it downstairs to meet her mother.

"Look good enough mum?" She asked timidly hoping to impress the lady she looks up to.

Polly smiled at the sight of her, "you look beautiful."

Smiling in acceptance of her answer Anna put on her coat following her mum to the car.

Polly could sense the nervousness of her the minute they'd left the house. She was aware of the fact that the boys were peaky boys, but she'd hoped Anna knew they were family and would always care for her.

"Is Michael going to be there?"

"Yes he should be. Tommy isn't just sure yet about him joining the business though. You should be excited, it's a big reunion." She smiled at her daughter, beyond joyed to finally witness her loves together again.

After a short drive they ended in front of a building on a mangy road. Anna guessed this was watery lane. It was very smoggy and Smokey, workers operating up and down the street, a small sliver of fear crept into her at the thought of learning a new town. Even though she had grown up here Anna hadn't remembered a thing about the town.

"Right darling, let's go. I'll show you around the place, as well as where we have our family meetings." Polly told her.

Following her mother through the door she took in the space. A small fireplace and sitting area shown as well as some other touches to make it seem more homelike. Her eyebrows furrowed as Polly took her through a curtain into a back room of sorts. Men busying with work and numbers not paying any mind for them, focused on the task at hand. She stared in amazement knowing that math had always intrigued her.

Polly showed her the offices that they had as they made there way into a room, most likely where only the family was allowed.

No one was in there besides her and her mum at the moment, giving her some peace after seeing so much.
