This is honestly a whole lot of self-indulgence, straight up, straight out the gate. At this point, I think self-indulgence is really all I have going for myself. It's got a vague mash-up of Star Trek Alternate Timeline, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and some Marvel sort of stuff (somewhat heavy references to Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain Marvel), though you don't really need to know anything about Marvel to really enjoy it. Cannon and timelines are used loose and fast (read: not at all, in some places).
