The blood trail seemed to go on for miles as it eventually found it's way to a highway. This almost confirmed my suspicions on where it was leading us. I looked at my watch to see the time was three in the morning. I knew had woken up at night, but I didn't realise I had woken up so early in the morning!
I instantly started to get drowsy so I drove the car over to the side of the road. "Can anyone else here drive?" I asked to no one particular. All of the spirits shook their heads and I mentally face-palmed myself. They were killed when they were kids, of course they can't drive!
"Jeremy?" I asked him uncertainly. He nodded but he looked extremely unsure.
"I can," he said, "but the last one ever drove was my Mom's when I was seventeen. So..."
"If you can at least get both us there without getting killed, you'll be fine," I assured him as the homeless man and I swapped seats. It took a while for him to get back into the knack of driving (with some help from me), but we eventually got back on the road following the glowing trail. Once Jeremy assured that he was fine driving, my head hit the back of the seat and instantly fell asleep.
Another nightmare invaded my mind that night. I was in the meat storage room in the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza's kitchen, skinless bodies hung up all around me. "Mike!" I heard Jamie scream. I turned around to see her hung up among the dead bodies, missing her eyes, her right hand and her entire left leg, her spine also popping out her back.
"Jamie!" I yelled as I jumped towards her. However I was thrown aside by a silhouette of a man in a bloodstained jacket , a knife in hand. After throwing me, he turned and limped towards Jamie, obviously to try finish her off. I got up and was going to tackle the man when I heard a door open. I slowly turned around to come face to face with an atrocity of mangled metal, which quickly pinned me to the ground and wrapped around me, forcing me to stay on the spot.
"Mike...!" Another scream from Jamie. I then saw a purple, Freddy-like figure appear in front of me, covered in glowing blood and muttering the words "It's Me."
"Help...!" Another scream. The purple figure opened it's mouth wide to reveal several upon several rows of sharp Foxy-like teeth and slammed it's jaw upon my forehead.
"Me..." Jamie's voice faded away as the figure pulled it's head backwards, ripping my frontal lobe out of my head...
"Gah!" I screamed as I woke up from the nightmare, causing Jeremy to almost jump out his skin and crash the car into another car.
"You okay?!" he asked yelling.
"Yeah, it was just a nightmare..." I said calmly. I tried to calm myself down, but know it wasn't just a dream, it was my greatest fears.
After a few hours of following the glowing blood trail later, we came to the one place I suspected we the trail would lead us. The Freddy Fazbear's Pizza I found Golden Freddy.
We all got out of the car and saw the crimson liquid ooze into the double glass doors into the restaurant. I led the group to the doors and I held my breath as I pushed them open. The whole place was dark, the show stage's animatronic characters turned off, which surprised me a bit as I would've thought that would make their servos lock up.
As I walked into the main dining area, I could've swore I saw a flash of... purple? A fist connected with my face hard and I feel to floor. Jeremy helped me back up as I looked at my attacker. There were two men, one was a man in his late eighties with a purple coat and another was a guy in his late forties who had a purple uniform and a... security badge? Behind them was a cage, and in the cage was the bleeding spirit of Jamie.
"Why did you take Jamie?!" I yelled at them. The two purple men both just looked at each other and laughed.
"Oh, wouldn't you like to know, Schmidt?" the security guard just laughed.
