When I got to school the first thing I saw was Ryota at the hallway and we gave each other an awkward greeting and then spent a few good minutes about what to say to each other considering the situation we had the last day. "So what's up?", I ask, "well Yumeko figured out Saotome's cheat by using the same way you did , except that she used her makeup mirror." , "oh I see", I reply and then I noticed that he was not wearing his house pet tag on his neck anymore, Ryota noticed that and said, "Yumeko also paid my money that I owed to Saotome , she said it was a gift to me for making the gamble fun to her.", he said, "sounds like maybe you do have a chance.", I say back hoping to reinstate our friendship, Ryota smiled and said, "you think?" , offering his hand to me, "definitely", I said shaking it.
Just on cue Yumeko arrived and watching us shake hands made her to take our hands on both of our hands and said joyfully, "let us all be friends together , okay?." We smiled and then we headed to the classroom. When we entered our eyes were by averted by a wretched sight. Saotome was standing beside her desk, except that it wasn't in a condition a desk generally looks like. It was littered with papers and graffiti was drawn on it saying phrases like, "KITTEN!!" , "FLAT CHEST !!! GO DIE!!." Yumeko moved towards her and asked her what was the reason for this , genuinely concerned but Saotome rebuffed her and angrily showed her the tag with the words "Kitten" written on it , "THIS HAPPENED BECAUSE I LOST TO YOU!!!"

she screamed , I was afraid that she might attack Yumeko in a fit of rage so I stepped in between both of them. Saotome looked on me with angry eyes and screamed, "YOU SNITCHED ON ME DIDN'T YOU???? OR ELSE HOW WAS SHE SUPPOSED TO BEAT ME ???" , "With all due respect Saotome I did no such thing.", I said, "OH SHUT UP!!! YOU ARE EQUALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS!!!" , she yelled literally shoving the tag on my face.
On normal situations I would have stood up to her but seeing her attitude and also how she tormented Ryota made me think otherwise, I mean any sensible person would change their strategy if they sensed that someone was able to see it through, or at least have a backup plan, but this girl ignored it all. So let her suffer , plus I have an important job on my hand. I smiled and looked at Saotome with mild amusement and said ,
