The next morning I went to school , as usual hoping to find Yumeko soon , as I was hoping to make her go against another student council member , I know it seems unnecessary because of our plan to raid the Monobami compound but there was still two months of time for that and I wanted to continue my original plan for the time being, in order to keep myself busy. I entered the classroom and I found Yumeko but I also found something that was confusing and disturbing at the same time.
Yumeko was on the ground doing an impersonation of what I think is a cat while poor Ryouta struggled to cover her from behind as she was drawing voluminous perverts of our and the other classes , all the while saying stuff such as , "I want to gamble more and more meow, I am a loser cat meow.", her eyes having that look which I know too well in front of three girls who were looking at her as though she was something menacing and left the classroom. Seeing all of this bought to my mind , the events of yesterday and , how Yumeko lost to Yuriko and was now a housepet , a kitten as per her gender and those girls , no doubt just like the others who in this school came to tease and taunt her.
Soon enough classes began and I didn't have any trouble regarding the bullies but now I have to keep an eye out for them incase they harm Yumeko physically, because I'm sure Yumeko can handle the mental trauma because of her past and her nature but in any case , I better be alert. I looked behind my desk and saw Saotome , trying to listen to the class, ignoring the spitballs being thrown at her by the guys and the notes being slipped with lewd messages, I then turned front and looked at Yumeko who was not receiving any such thing of the sort, well I guess the guys here have a bit of a soft spot for Yumeko , I suppose but however I was proven wrong soon after.
Classes had ended and while everyone was leaving , I and Ryota stood behind Yumeko , in order to keep an eye on her and then three dudes approached her and took her away with them. We followed them to a place behind the school grounds and saw their leader sitting on a chair talking to Yumeko , I lip read what the dude was saying and he told Yumeko that she was a house pet and now obliged to obey him and then he asked her to take of her clothes. Ryota and I (just pretended to do so) watched in horror as Yumeko took off her blazer and was about to bend down and take out her leggings when we walked on them. "Hey , stop-.", Ryota said and tried to stop them but two guys stood in front of him looking for a fight, while Yumeko who politely told their leader that she does not like guys like him as they are not her type and hence refuses to oblige to his orders, in retaliation he grabbed her throat and slammed her to the wall. I then went past the two guys holding me and Ryota back with my agility and stood face to face in front of their leader.

He was a tall person by height and had short brown hair and had broad shoulders, in short he was nothing less than a giant size of a human being leering down at me as though I am an insect in his path. His name , I heard later was Jun Kiwatari. "That's enough, you have gone quite far, she may be a house pet but stripping away their rights is inhuman , leave her alone.", I said placidly maintaining eye contact with him , he smirked and then said in a voice , heavy with smugness, "far?, she is a house pet , nothing more than an insect to be stomped on , they have no rights hence humiliation is the only thing they can receive, so we here are just doing our work , so there is nothing inhuman about it." "Well , you say that because you yourself are not in their shoes, but-.", I spoke but I was cut off when he punched me on my chest, and unfortunately I didn't keep my guard up and hence dealt the blow, his punch did hurt but not unlike anything I felt in my training , so I callously stood up and looked at him but before I could hit him back or say anything , someone else had entered the picture.

A girl with black hair, with an eye over her eyepatch came towards us , I knew at once that the person in question is none other than Ikishima Midari, the president of the school's beautification club , which ensures that the rules of the school are being applied and a member of the student council. "Hey ,hey , hey, if you guys are so into beating then why not play with me.", she said as she pulled out a Keith revolver from her bag and pointed it at Kiwatari who despite his heftiness and stature was afraid , as she licked the gun in a creepy way and said, "it's a game of Russian roulette where you get to put your lives on the line, as you pull the trigger, so no money is being beefed here, so what say.", she said to Kiwatari who was unable to believe what the lady in front of him was saying, "screw this b******t, let's go.", he said and he and his lackeys left. Yumeko then turned to Midari and thanked her , which she did not respond properly to and then she too left, while Ryota handed Yumeko back her blazer and then all three of us went back to our classroom.
All in all this run in with Kiwatari made me a bit concerned about Yumeko but what irked me was the fact that what he said to me about the house pets was right. They are , to be put bluntly , the oppressed groups who are subjected to discrimination, humiliation and many such tortures and as those who are not victims , try to assert their dominance by treating them as so , mindlessly. " I will put an end to it.", I thought to myself , "in just two months time , I will catch Kirari and then all this will be over." But for now I really hoped that Yumeko gets her house pet status revoked, but who would gamble against someone with a debt of 301,000,000 Yen on herself?. "Kudos to Kirari for that.", I thought bitterly as I hoped to find someway to help Yumeko but then someone else beat me to it and boy it was not something I expected.
The schools intercom buzzed and an announcement was made saying , "dear students, those who are now at the status of a house pet please report to the assembly hall, the great debt repayment event has commenced, I repeat all students at the rank of a house pet please report to the assembly hall...". I watched as Yumeko went away after telling Ryota that she will be fine and left. I looked up at the intercom and couldn't help but smile and said, "why thank you, Madame president."
