Chapter Three

As i enter the evil that is chemistry i notice a newly familiar back walking in front of to the teachers desk. i held my breath slightly wait to see if indeed this was Alexander that walk into class. as my luck would have it i would get to meet both of the new guys today. this day is turning out to be quite interesting. i take my set and wait for the class to start. as i finish pulling out my books i notice that the only empty set is beside me. i would finally get to meet Alexander. Mrs. Radford was already a step ahead of me, she directed him to go ahead and sit beside me. she beings the lesson as soon as Alexander sits down.

closer to the end of class she gives us time to work on our homework. i watch as Alexander pulls out glasses. i mean like nerd classes minus the tape. i turn my head and grin down at my book. as i finish my homework, i sit and doddle in my notebook until class is done. about two minuets before the bell rings for the end of class i pack up my stuff except for my pen and notebook. when the bell rings, i stand up and drop my notebook. before i can reach down to pick it up Alexander already has it in his hands.
"here" he gently hands me the notebook.
"thanks, Im Zoey." i stick out my hand for him to shake "you must be new here?" i ask
"yeah i'm Alexander but you can call me Alex" he says with a slight grin.
"well its good to meet you Alex" i respond being my nice usually self.
"so have you thought about joining any clubs or sports." i asked.
"no, not yet i thought i would check some out though." he said unsure.
"well i'm headed to the student council meeting, if you would like to tag along." i said inviting him because it seems like the right thing to do.
"sure sounds good. i've never been on student council before." he seems a bit more chipper that he was before.
we walk out and head down the hall toward Mr. Lewis class so that i can grab Rose and head to our meeting. Scott and Rose walk out together and spot me with alex
"who you got there?" Rose asked.
"this is Alexander or Alex. This is Rose and Scott." i do the polite introduction.
"Me, Alex and Rose are headed to the Student Council meeting, would you like to join us?" i asked not waning to leave anyone out.
"uh.. sure could be fun." he said slightly unsure. we head off to the auditorium to the meeting.

after the meeting we head to the dorms to show the guys were they would be staying during there time here at Darkwell Academy. after promising to meet for dinner me and Rose head back to our dorm.
when we get to our dorm we quickly have a rock paper scissors game to see who get to shower first. i could have easily won because Rose always throws paper. but i let her win so that i could get a little work done on my video for tv. to see what i needed to film tomorrow in order to have it finished by Friday.
i figure out what i need and write it down. just as Rose comes out of the bathroom. i grab my stuff and head to my shower of slightly less warm water. after my shower i'm glad to change into regular clothes for dinner. Rose sits on her bed and laughs at me.
"what?" i put my hands on my hips.
"nothing" she giggles."just that i find it funny that even thought we meet two cute boys today your still going to wear what you pick out yesterday to wear before we even knew they existed." she saids finishing up her make up.
"you know good and well that i don't care what i look like as long as i'm confutable. i'm not trying to impress nobody. you like me like this or not at all" i say giving that speech to her for like the hundredth time. she throws her hands up and lets our a sigh, knowing good and well that this is a loosing argument. that and I'm stuck in my ways.
"that and theres nothing wrong with what i have on." looking down at my jeans and t-shirt. it's not like it was a date. which is what Rose looked like.
She was going on. in a pink mini poof shirt, grey leggings and a sparkly gray shirt paired with gray booties. she look good as always but i knew she put more effort in this outfit than normal.
" it wouldn't hurt to make yourself look more girly." she states.
"i know, i know. i'll be more girly tomorrow. i'll even let you help pick out my outfit." as soon as i said that. i instantly regretted it. the look on her face was of som much glee. she loved to dress me up like a doll.
"i said help. not make me your little doll." she was about to burst with all of her excitement i need to tone her down a little bit.
"okay okay"' Rose said just about to jump off her bed. I look at the clock and see the time.
"we better get going if were to meet the guys." Rose grabs my hand and drags me out of the room.
as we walk to meet the guys Rose hasn't stopped talking about what i should wear. i was seriously regretting my choice to let her pick my outfit, but the puppy dog look on her face made me say it.
i see Scott and Alex standing outside the guys dorm before Rose does, but two seconds later she see them.
"HEY GUYS" she yells and waves her hand. they both look up and wave.
"hey guys. you ready?" i ask gesturing to the dinning hall.
"yeah" they said in unison. we make it to the dinning hall and Scott and Alex look as though they can't believe there eyes.
Alex looks at me "so you mean this school has a dinning hall and cafeteria?" he ask a little confused by all of this.
"yes, the state has there mandated food plan that's what we get for breakfast and lunch. but our parent's pay for better food so we get that for dinner and weekends." i state
"this school is Strange" Scott said. we head to the dinner line once we grab our food. we head to one of the round tables as we get settled. i see one of your friends Lol come out of the line. i wave her over to sit with us.
"hey guys" she says in her usually happy tone.
"have you met Scott and Alex yet?" i asked once she was seated.
"no i haven't, it's nice to meet you" she said looking at the both of them.
"it's nice to meet you to Lola" Alex said sweetly.
"yeah" scott added.

"oh" i say because i just remember to ask them about there roommates.
"did you guys get t meet your roommates?" i asked.
"yea" Scott said he looked toward Alex.
"turns out we meet at the end of fourth." Alex said as a matter of fact. i look at them confused for a minute and then it hits me.
"you guys are roommates?" i ask to prove my theory.
"yep" they say laughing.
"oh ha ha" i give a fake pout.
"ah come on Zoey we're only playing." Scott says being the first to break from my acting skills. i see Alex out of the corner of my eye shaking his head and laughing at us.
"I know." i go from pouting to laughing at Scott's confused face.
"you were only joking?"he ask
"yep" i give him a look that said he had a lot to learn about me.
