Jules was fitted into a new and warm outfit. He was very thankful for this, as it meant no more standing around in the cold, waiting for his bum to freeze off. When he told the blacksmith this, the human couldn't help but laugh.

As for other events, it took around a month for everything to fall into place. As Cassandra said, ravens were sent to the holds of Ferelden, Orlais, the Free Marches, and beyond. Soon, nearly every city in the world would know of the inquisition's return. To be quite honest, Jules had never been part of anything as important as the Inquisition. Before arriving, visiting the Conclave was the most "necessary" thing he had ever been sent to do. Then again, he was shocked he had been sent there at all. Perhaps the Keeper noticed how much he wanted to leave, and decided to get rid of him for a while.

While waiting for others to arrive, Jules mainly kept to himself. Cassandra had a room set up for him in the Chantry itself, and it even came with a small fireplace to keep him warm. She turned out to be nicer than he originally thought, but she was still strict and forceful when it came to serious business.

Jules was used to not being able to rest, but this was an all-time low when it came to sleep. Every once in a while, Solas checked his mark to make sure it wasn't expanding. The Breach isn't moving, so why would the mark? Jules grumbled to himself as he and Cassandra made their way to the War room.

A month had passed since he arrived, and the Inquisition was finally ready to attend to its serious matters. Cassandra glanced at the elf beside her, and noticed how he watched his hand with distaste. "Does it trouble you?" she asked.

Jules looked up with somewhat of a pout. "I just wish I knew what it was," he complained. "Or how to get it off! The thing creeps me out when it starts glowing in the middle of the night... I don't enjoy having something shaped like a vagina on my hand."

Cassandra blinked. "I... It..." she sighed, shaking her head, "all will be revealed shortly, I'm sure. What is important is that the mark is now stable, as is the breach. You've given us time, and Solas believes a second attempt might succeed- provided the mark has more power. The same level of power used to open the breach in the first place. That is not easy to come by."

"Oh, sure," Jules scoffed. "Power up something you don't understand and all will turn out just fine. We might even bring back griffons in the process, who knows? I only want to have fun, and I've noticed that fun is hard to come by in this cold place."

"There is war at hand. Time cannot be spared for fun," Cassandra stated.

Jules made rasberries. "Pfft... That's boring."

Cassandra glanced at him, but said nothing as she opened the door to the war room.

Inside, three others were waiting. Jules recognized two, but the third was a stranger. "You've met Commander Cullen, leader of the Inquisition's forces," Cassandra formally introduced the blond man standing near the center of the table.

"It was only for a moment on the field. I am pleased you survived," Cullen bowed his head.

Cassandra gestured to the unfamiliar woman, who dressed in golden and blue. "This is Lady Josephine Montilyet," she said. "Our ambassador and chief diplomat."
