I sat the pregnancy test down on my bedside table then head to my bathroom to get ready for this Cookout. I have no right to be upset that this girl is pregnant for Dave, I can't say I don't feel some type of way I do but we're not together so he's free to do whatever he wants. Putting everything behind me I started to get ready because it was half pass four and I didn't want Dave to wait on me. I took a shower and did my hair and make up, oh fuck I didn't realized I'm gonna meeting Dave family what should I wear? After what seems like hours of digging I finally found a short dress which was cute so I decide to wear it and some heels.

'' I can't believe you ain't ready, I told ya ass to be ready by five, it 5:20 Arii'' Dave yelled as he entered my room. This nigga always yelling like damn shut the fuck up.
''Sorry, let me just get my purse and come" I mumbled not looking at him
''Why you need yo purse? I got you if you need something''
''I'm not leaving without my purse so don't think about it'' I warned knowing what he was about to say. Finally found my belongings I made my way downstairs with Dave behind me.
After a long awkward and boring car ride we finally arrived at the venue, we were still seated in the car I was just scrolling on insta while Dave eyes were pierced on me. "So you not gonna come out the car'' he asked causing me to look up at him like he was the stupidest man on earth. "So you forced me to attend your family cookout and then expect me to walk inside there looking like everything is fine, fuck you David'' I said then bring my focus back to my phone. Next thing I know he grabbed my phone then got out leaving me looking all confuse. What the fuck is his problem?
''Lets go'' Dave grabbed my hand pulling me out the car.
''Hey, what's your problem? you out here acting like I did shit when you're the out here doing shit'' He let my hand free as I finished my sentence.
''What the fuck that supposed to mean Arii?'' he said looking all confused.
''Nothing never mind lets go'' I held onto his hand as we make our way inside.
As we enter I felt sick because everyone was staring at me and all the attention was making me nervous. Dave lightly squeeze my hand seeing that it look like I was about to pass out. We made our way to the kitchen where most of the ladies were all head then turned into our direction, yup definitely gonna throw up. ''David I'm not feeling well'' I whispered. ''Shawty it's cool, they gonna love you'' he kissed my hand.
''Big bother you finally reached ohhh you brought a bitch too'' a boy that look like Dave but younger yelled.
"Nigga don't you ever call shawty a bitch again else imma fuck you up'' Dave warned as his grip around my hand tighten.
