After dave left I rushed over to check on Marcus. He was badly beaten so I took him to the hospital. I can't believe Dave did this he didn't even give me a chance to explain and he pushed me. He never puts his hands on me in that type of way.

"Is he okay" I asked the doctor.

"Yes, just few broken ribs but he'll be alright"

"Oh my god, can I see him now"

"Sure"

I pushed the door open to find Marcus laying on the bed with his phone in his hand. He look up at me and smiled.

"Hey, how are you feeling?" I asked as I sat in the chair next to him.

"I'm fine, I thought you left"

"I wasn't gonna just walk away from something that's my fault, I'm sorry Dave did this he is very jealous and overprotective of me, he's not always like this"

"Ha, Arii Dave is the biggest drug lord in New york he have done worse to other this is just a warning if he see us together again I'm a dead man but I'm willing to take that risk" he held my hand smiling.

"Uhm, your a nice guy Marcus but I haven't ended things with Dave yet so it's best if we just keep it has friends"

"Yeah sure" he said a little disappointed.

"Look I have to go but I'll be back tomorrow morning to check up on you, goodnight" I said then head out the hospital.

I need to have a little talk with Dave.
