Ariana pov.

   Christmas came and went so did the New years. Dave and I came back to Harlem about 2 days before Christmas because I didn't want to spend Christmas under the same roof as my annoying sister and my abusive ex. My mom and dad choose Anthony over me so I choose Dave and spend Christmas with his family. Turns out they don't hate me they were just shock to see Dave bring a girl home, his mom and sister are like the sweetest persons ever. Everyone actually likes me well expect for his dad. That man doesn't really act like he wants me around always sending me weird look. I told Dave about it but he just said not to pay him any attention.

"Stay right here and don't come out I'll be back'' Dave gave me a quick kiss. Before I could ask any questions he was already out of the car heading inside what looks like an old warehouse. Not giving it much attention I turned my attention back to my phone, French Montana and Doja Cat caught in the Bahamas together, now that's some tea.

A few minutes later I heard a gun shot coming from the warehouse causing me to jump, Fuck Dave I need to know if he's ok. Exiting the car I ran into the warehouse only be grabbed by a guards I guess.

"Get yo fucking hand off me" I tried escaping his grip on my arm but he only tightened it.

"Stop you're hurting me" I wasn't lying he was squeezing my hand hard.

"I bet those pretty lips of you can do magical things to a nigga" he said rubbing his crusty thumb over my lips. Without giving it a thought I spite in his face only for him to slap me across my face shit burns. "DAVE" I screamed hoping he wasn't the one that got shot.

  "Arii I heard you scream are you- what the fuck are you doing" Dave yelled pointing the gun at the man, shit I totally forgot about the part that he kills people and he's a druglord. Dave grabbed me by my bruised arm pulling me over to his side causing me to wince in pain. He stared at me for a few seconds almost like he was examining me I tired hiding the bruised on my face but he saw it before I could.

"Who gave you the right to put your crusty hand on my chick?" Dave yelled at me man. "Boss I'm sorry I thought she was some hoe" he explained but that just make Dave angrier. "Next time you'll learn not to fuck with what's mine" he yelled and shot the guard in his head  like it was nothing. I froze did he just kill a man in front of me and worse it was my fault he died if I had just sit in the car and mind my business this wouldn't have happened.

"Someone come clean this shit up and make sure when I come back tomorrow my missing 10k isn't missing no more else a motherfucka gotta finna die" Dave yelled then took my hand leading me to the car.

"Sorry you had to see that bae but he deserved it" he kissed my forehead then drove off. The whole ride I didn't said anything I was just staring into space wondering if I should run or stay.

"We still going to the club tonight right?" Dave asked but I didn't respond.

"Come on Arii you can't still be mad"

"It's my fault you killed him, I should've just stayed in the car"

"Yes you should have, but he was finna die anyway that motherfucka was giving Intel to the enemy."

"I- David I-" I wanted to tell him that I can't do this but I was scared of what he might do to me.

"I'm gonna go get ready so we can go to the club" I said then went in my bathroom so I could take a shower. How did I end up with a crazy nigga like him?

After my shower I did my hair I decided I wasn't wearing any make up because I wasn't in the mood to party. Dave friends and sister are gonna be there while Sky was still at her mom so I'm gonna be boring all night, she promised she'll be there for my birthday though which is in three days. Damn why do I always gotta take so long to get ready Dave finna kill me. I finally found a short tight dress so I decided on wearing it with some flat I grab my purse and head downstairs to find Dave scrolling on his phone. He look me up and down like he was deciding whether to say something or not.
