It felt as if time had stilled as everyone ran for their lives, desperate to live another day. Not even five minutes into the game, the two had heard gunshots and screams that they knew would never let them sleep tonight. Say what you would, but they had feelings. No matter how many times they called you a bitch to try and hide it.
As the younger of the two peered from the grove between doors he and Yoongi had squeezed into, he winced seeing a much younger girl being shot. Probably was a sophomore in high school if not younger. His eyes darted to the tip of a horse mask before he shot back to his spot, giving his older friend a look that he, thankfully, understood quickly.Don't. Make. A. Sound.
Jimin looked down to see a few pebbles and rocks, praying to whatever sick gods were watching over them for forgiveness. Picking one up, the boy took a deep breath before he reached his arm out and threw it down the upside end of the hotel-like corridor. Footsteps. A scream. Gunshots. A body falling. His teeth tugged at his abused bottom lip as he shook his head in a bit of shame before it popped up hearing the masked killer walk up what he could've sworn were stairs. Yoongi had waited for Jimin to slide out quietly before following, the two making sure they heard the heavy boots of the gunman above them before silently making their way past every door. They knew the game. Find the safe space, you get to live in. Yoongi had explained the said door tended to be bulletproof, snickering a bit at the irony, before going on about how it was strong enough to be spotless even after a massacre. You find it, you make it past the surprise visitor, and you go free.
"Yoongs.. The door isn't here. We checked each door on the damn floor. Fuck me." He said with a shaky breath.
That meant they'd have to go upstairs. Where they'd just sent the armed pony head. "Damnit." Yoongi had cursed under his breath before a spark went off behind his dark eyes. "Wait. There are two staircases on each end of the hall. If he went up on the right and is walking to the left looking for people, us going that way is our safest bet." The oldest said. And it did make sense. Going up the left would no doubt make them meet face to..well, bullet. The right, however, would put them behind whoever wore that mask. Maybe he'd already gone to the next level of the short silence was anything to go by. However, Yoongi wasn't completely convinced.
"But he could also be nesting. Sitting in a crack in the wall and waiting for us to pass to shoot us." He said. Jimin cursed under his breath. Not only was time running out, but the game wasn't exactly looking to be in their favor. He felt like punching the fucking wall as if this was all its fault. Fucking wall.Yet, it was when Jimin twisted his body to bash his fist into said fucking wall that he paused. There was a floor below them. As soon as the game started, they ran upstairs to hide without having checked the first floor. He saw a platinum blonde man casually strolling towards one of the doors, one that just so happened to have no bullet dents on it. Jimin felt like crying and kissing the poor wall he'd almost hit. Thankfully, Yoongi saw his pause and followed his eyes. Something told Jimin that Yoongi would be thanking that man in many ways. If they lived. Thanks to the boy, they just might.
All fear was out the window and around the corner as the two raced for the stairs when they heard gunshots, pausing when there was silence and continuing when they started again. On their way, they saw they weren't the only ones, a green-haired boy and a really angry woman were at the bottom of the stairs with a kind-looking older woman. The type to have a few cats. The two motioned to the door and Yoongi nodded, understanding the silent invitation. They listened first. Nothing but the sounds of the mysterious man's shoes against the floor. All began to run when Jimin's decided to take the lead, Yoongi helping the grandma of the group to keep up by piggybacking her. They ended up meeting the rather cute but bored looking platinum blond halfway. "You're a lifesaver, know that?" Yoongi asked with a sigh as he set the woman down, said lifesaver giving a Cheshire-like grin to the slightly shorter man.
"You're welcome then." He said, wait. Did he wink at him? Jimin gave Yoongi a familiar grin and hip-bumped him when the man turned to open the door. Yoongi glared at him, but he couldn't hide the slight tint of pink on his pale cheeks. All jokes aside, the man opened the door to be greeted by a dark and very creepy room. The kind of room that made Jimin wanna shut the door and return to the open halls. Yoongi pushed him encouragingly, making sure the old woman was with Chishiya, the platinum blond boy introduced himself as, before anyone and he was the last one. He'd propped the door open slightly for everyone else, slyly using a rock before shoving Jimin in. Said boy was about to curse the man before his eyes widened. Yoongi had caught the surprise visitor's gun before they could shoot, fighting for it as he screamed for everyone to go. He couldn't leave his friend, his only real friend from the real world here to die, but he knew Yoongi would want him to live if anything.Fuck what Yoongi wants.
Jimin grabbed a rather nice-looking vase from a nearby, kinda saying sorry for what he was about to do before he had chucked it at their attacker's head, laughing as his confidence for the game returned. He'd have fun with this. While Yoongi had ducked and still fought for the gun, he'd successfully thrown the person off their rhythm, loosened their hands so Yoongi had the upper hand. He grinned maniacally, a smile Niragi would be proud of, as he casually skipped to the horse face's side, humming a tune while Yoongi gave him a look that screamed 'You're a fucking psycho, but continue.' and that's just what he'd do. The boy lunged down as if he were in a fucking gym warmup, humming to himself a little countdown as they struggled for the gun like two divorced parents for custody before springing up like a goddamn jack in the box, bringing up his lunged leg to shove into the gunman's babymaker. He laughed as Yoongi took hold of the gun, the poor man, as he'd found out by kneeing him hard enough, falling onto the floor while clutching what little Jimin had left of his manhood. He licked his lips in satisfaction and high-fived Yoongi without needing to look. Just as the older of the duo was aiming the gun at the man's head, a buzzer went off.
They'd won the game.
Yoongi watched with a smirk as the man was killed by a beam before them, keeping the gun over his shoulder as they walked out behind their little group.
"C'mon, Yoongi. You're coming with me." Jimin said as they walked down the stairs. All the Min boy could do was nod tiredly.
"As long as I get to see that Chishiya again. He looks well endowed." He mumbled.
"I am." A voice said from behind the two, both freezing and turning creepily in sync to see none other than the, apparently, well-endowed Chishiya. "I'll be seeing you both around. Maybe you'll get to see for yourself, hm?" He said, half-lidded eyes lazily looking to the cat-eyed man with hints of mischief lacing them before he walked past them. Jimin looked between the two and giggled.
"That sexual tension is gonna make so many people want a whole chapter dedicated to you two." The diva mumbled, Yoongi looking at him questioningly only to grumble realizing he wouldn't get an answer. "C'mon, let's go home. I have someone you're gonna want to meet."
