It wasn't a long walk from the lab to Route 1. Maybe a couple minutes, but nothing more than that. Once Guu got on the path to Route 1 they saw Cheren and Bianca waiting for them. "Guu. . .It's this way! Bianca yelled once she noticed her friend had arrived. "Bianca says if we're starting a journey together, she want us all to take out first step at the same time." Cheren explained to Guu. "Really?" They asked, Cheren nodded. "Hey, Guu! Let's all take our first step on Route 1 together!" Bianca cheered. "I just explained that we're doing that Bianca." Cheren sighed.
"Oh! Right, sorry!" she apologized. "Ok, here we go!" Cheren said. They took each others hands and linked together in a line on the path. "One, two!" Bianca yelled. they all walked forward on the path and into Route 1. "Oh! I wonder what will happen! Isn't this so exciting!" Bianca cheered as she jumped up and down. "It sure is! C'mon, the professor's waiting." Cheren said, gesturing with his hand for them to walk ahead.
So they did, and were soon standing in front of a patch of grass, which Professor Juniper was standing in. "Professor Juniper, I'm sorry to have kept you waiting." Cheren apologized. The professor waved his apology off meaning there was no need to apologize for slight tardiness. "Now that everyone's here, I'll explain." The professor started. "The Pokedex's pages update automatically whenever you meet a Pokémon! Moreover, it's set up so that you obtain even more information when you catch a Pokémon! To make this clear, I'm going to demonstrate how to catch a Pokémon!" Professor Juniper explained. She took a step back into the grass surrounding her. Eventually a Pokémon attacked, it was a Patrat.
Professor Juniper sent out her Pokémon, which was a Minccino. She engaged in a battle and began to show them the basics of battling and capturing Pokémon. How to battle properly, how to tell when a Pokémon has suffered enough damage to be caught, how to properly throw a pokeball, and how to catch it. The battle ended and the professor had successfully caught the Patrat. "Did you see that, just now?" Professor Juniper asked. "Here's how it goes, step by step. First, reduce the Pokémon's HP! Pokémon that still have all of their energy are difficult to catch. If you can, use your Pokémon's moves to make the Pokémon you want to catch fall asleep. Or paralyze it! And to wrap this up in the best way, I have a gift for you--some Pokeballs!" She re-explained and told them, handing the three each a number of Pokeballs, which they stored in they're bags. "Pokeballs are used for catching Pokémon and for carrying the Pokémon you catch!" She explained.
Guu knew that was what pokeballs were used for, but for now they would rather hold Squirt in they're arms. "I'm going on ahead. I'll be waiting for you in Accumula Town!" She told them, then sped off through the route. "She forgot to say that Pokemon jump out at you in the tall grass." Cheren grinned in a humorous manner. "I'm heading to Accumula Town, too." He said pushing up his glasses. "I think I'll go, too." Bianca join in. "I'm looking forward to the next town so I can go shopping for Pokeballs!" She added. "Wait a minute!" She gasped, "Hey listen! Guu, Cheren, I thought of something fun!" She exclaimed. "What?" Guu asked, curious of what she had in store for them.
"But we need to get going! I'd imagine the professor's waiting, too." Cheren said in a worried and anxious tone. "Would you just listen a sec? Seriously!" Bianca told him, annoyed. "Why don't we see who can catch the most Pokémon? The person carrying the most Pokémon, including the one received from Professor Juniper, is the winner!" Bianca proposed the idea. "I like it! Sounds fun!" Guu said, excited from the idea of a competition. "Huh. Actually, that sounds interesting." Cheren said. "It will fill up Pokedex pages, so I'm sure it will please the professor, too." He continued. "Ok, then. Until we reach Accumula Town, take care of healing your Pokémon at your own house." Cheren huffed playfully placing his hands on his hips.
"Me and Tepig will do the best for sure!" Bianca said. They each unlinked their hands, which they had forgot were still linked together, and hugged Guu before heading out. "See you there Guu!" Bianca yelled back at them as Cheren waved. Guu waved back at them, not saying a word, as they watched them both head on without them. "Boy, we haven't even gone through the first route yet and I'm already exhausted." Guu said to Squirt. "Oshaaaaaa," he sighed, Guu assumed he was agreeing with them. "Well, guess we should get going them. Squirt, in or out?" Guu asked holding up the water-types pokeball. He looked away and huffed. "Out it is then," Guu said putting the pokeball away. They took a deep breath before going on.
They're adventure had officially begun

Okay, writing these last few chapters has been e x a u s t i n g! And a little boring-
(I haven't really been able to actually play the game yet)
I've been having to look back and forth between my computer (Which I'm writing on) and my DS to copy the character dialog straight from it. Yep, you heard me, I've been copying the character dialog as it's said in the game.
So if anything looks strangely written in the quotation marks, blame Pokemon White.
Let's just say my neck is killing me. But, I hope you've been enjoying it so far!
The next chapter should be out soon, either in an hour or a day or so, depends on how long I can keep my eyes open at the moment.
