It had been a week. A whole week since Remus had seen Patton. Logan said Patton was just out in the garden a lot, and that he wanted to be alone. Why would Logan lie about that? But Patton was never around, Remus could tell. The food was different, it didn't taste right. But he didn't know what to do. He wanted to give Patton the space he wanted, but couldn't they at least see each other? No matter, he'd wait as long as Patton wanted, no matter how long that would be.

Remus woke up in the middle of the night, clinging to the cat plushie Patton gave him. He just wanted Patton back, he was the only one who cared about him. He was tired of waiting, tired of being alone. At the very least, he just wanted to see Patton. He'd wait longer if he needed to, but he wanted to make sure Patton was ok. He stretched out and got up, and walked to the other side of the house towards Patton's room. As he passed Logan's room though, he heard mumbling, then sensed someone sinking out. He got a pit in his stomach and sank out as well, being able to semi-follow where Logan went. He appeared in a large, bright laboratory-looking room. There was loads of expensive looking equipment around, and papers strewn all over the floor. He looked at the walls, to see dozens of doors and windows. He walked along the wall and looked in through the windows. Most rooms were empty, a few had strange creatures in them. As soon as he saw the last room though, he summoned his mace. He stormed into the room and kicked Logan away from Patton. "Don't fucking touch him!" Logan growled and tackled Remus. "He is mine!" Remus stared at Logan for a second, before bashing him over the head with the mace, knocking the other side unconscious. He immediately knelt down next to the now unconscious Patton, gently put the cat hoodie on him, then scooped him up and sank out to his room.

Patton had taken a few hours before he woke up. In that time, Remus had gotten him cleaned up to the best of his ability. He smiled slightly as Patton started to wake up and tightly hugged him.
