I remember how you were always a great help.
And I didn't want to admit it. I always acted as if every conversation I had with you irritated me, but deep down, I really enjoyed your company. I just didn't want to admit it to you or myself.
I remember that day where I was completely overwhelmed with work and you offered to help. I let you help me and what I never told you was that I was very grateful. I only acted like I didn't care.
But then you asked me something that made my heart beat even faster.
"Boss, you've been working all day and I feel bad. So why don't you come to the cafe with me? We can chat o-or just drink tea in silence!"
My heart immediately agreed, but my brain knew I couldn't show you how I felt, so I just sighed and nodded in a way that made it look like I wasn't very excited about this little "date".

You always had a lot to say which at first bothered me when I first met you, but this time, it was different. You could talk and talk for hours and I'd still love to listen to you. It was quite entertaining. I'd just sit there, quietly listening to you ramble on about anything while sipping on my tea.
From then on, we became closer.
