Series 4, Episode 1
"Will anyone care to tell me what's going on?"Lady Grenford had arrived at Calendar Hall and already has everyone at her beckoning call, as well as the new temporary housekeeper, Brody. Emma was currently scrubbing the steps of Calendar Hall. Jack was keeping her company, seeing as he was collecting the oranges from bushes to her right. They were working in a comfortable silence but were soon interrupted by a voice.
"I can search for specimens all morning" Emma turned and saw Gideon and Edwin coming towards them. "You two should come along too." Edwin says.
"What, while every border needs deadheading? Someone's got to do it." Jack replied. Emma rolled her eyes, Jack had always been the "head down and work hard" type.
"I know what would be more fun." Gideon shouts as he walks past with Edwin.
"It wasn't an offer," Edwin says, "It was an order." Jack signs and runs after them.
"Aren't you coming Emma?" Jack says. Edwin and Gideon stop in their tracks, waiting for her reply.
"I can't," she says sitting up and looking at them, squinting her eyes from the sun, "Not with Lady Grenford here. She's got everyone on their toes inside." she saw the disappointed look and Jacks face and added, "But I will next time i'm not busy. Promise." she says with a small smile.
"Alright." Jack muttered, still upset Emma wasn't coming.
"Come on Romeo, we haven't got all day." Edwin shouts, both him and Gideon have a teasing look on their face. Jack rolls his eyes and jogs off with them leaving Emma to carry on with her chores.

Emma walked back inside a while later and saw Brody and an ill looking Edwin.
"Master Edwin, is everything alright?" she asks the both of them.
"Ah, can you please get Master Edwin to his room while I get some wet rags..." Brody pauses, not knowing the servant in front of her.
