THEY were dead. All of them had died in the last ten years. Their deaths were no more suspicious than other deaths. Accidents, disease, murder. They had all died in Chelster, a small isolated town.
They didn't stay dead though. Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on your perspective, they awoke where they had died. Their bodies still lie in urns and in coffins, but there they were, walking and talking where they had last left off. The residence of Chelster, however, had moved on.
Can you really call someone who lives and breathes dead?
