It was the 3rd odi match India lost the toss and got to bat first

After national anthem both the openers were getting ready , shub tied his shoes lace and stood up only to come face to face with pihu

"All the best" She said to both shub and ro with an enchanting smile they thanked her and they both left

After arranging all her equipments and medicines she came and sat in balcony beside harry

"Woah how come you are here today?" He asked her

"Aise he" She said her eyes glued to the ground as both the openers took their position with rohit on strike

The power play was over with just 35 runs and all the runs from ro's bat

She bite her bottom lip and crossed her fingers

The opposition bowlers were in a great form they were not giving much runs and both the openers were mostly defending it was in the last ball of the 12th over when rohit tried to hit the pull shot but the ball went into the fielder's hand and it was a direct catch the score was 50 after 12 overs with 8(17) from shubh

Virat walk down to bat it was starc's over they got 4 runs from the over, in the next over shub hit zampa for 3 fours, they keep on rotating the strike and hitting the ball all over the ground in the 17th over hazelwood appealed for a wicket and it was given out by the umpire shubh looked at virat he blinked his eyes in assurance and he took a review , in the review it was clear that the bat didn't touch the ball and it was a not out

Pihu let out a breath of relief after the not out was given which even she didn't realised she was holding

"Woah chudail itni prayer na mere liye bhi karna" Abhay said nudging her

"Mere liye bhi" Harry said with an equally teasing smile from the other side

"Aur prayer kar bhi kiske liye rahi hai jisse poora time ladti rehti hai" Harry added

She rolled her eyes at them and scolded them to focus on the match

Virat and shubman were on fire by 25th over virat reached his half century and on the 5th ball of next over they completed 100 run partnership

By the end of the first innings India scored 302/6 with virat and shub's 112 and 92 respectively

As the second innings started bowlers were quick to get the 2 wickets in the power play in the middle overs Australia somehow tried to build the innings but our bowlers were not letting them to make any partnership which resulted in India winning the 3rd odi by 74 runs

It was a celebratory mood in the team as soon as they reached hotel the cake smash was waiting for the boys

"You are here to escape from the cake smash haina" Abhay asked coming to pihu who was standing outside in the garden from where all the celebration was visible through the glass

She just shook her head
"Wait what's going on in that overthinking brain of yours?" He asked her seriously

She again shook her head

"Oye listen I'm not going to buy that bullshit so you better say what's going on?"

"Yeah it's just I'm missing him more today"
