After waiting for 15 minutes, the waiter comes and tells him that the one who cooked the soup will be out soon to meet him. He just nods and keeps staring at the soup. After another 15 – 20 minutes, someone steps out of the kitchen and walks towards the same table. This person is wearing a white chef coat and smile on their face. After all, a chef is always happy to meet their customers.

When they reach the table, they saw that the soup had gone cold and the person was still not eating it. They thought maybe this meeting won't be a pleasant one. Preparing for the worst they speak up.

Chef: Sir, my staff informed that you wish to see me?

Hearing that voice, Samuel was shocked. He did not make any motion to turn around or answer, afraid he is hallucinating and his movements will wake him up.

Chef: Sir? Sir?

Not able to control his body any more Samuel stood from his chair and turned around. What he saw then, was something, rather someone whom he had lost all hopes of finding again.

Samuel: Rachaita??

Chef: Samuel??

They were both staring at each other unable to believe their own eyes. Samuel walked closer to her and stood just a few inches away from her.

Samuel: Rachaita? Is this really you?

Rachaita: Yes, Samuel, it's really me. You finally found me.

Samuel still unable to believe his eyes, moves his trembling hands towards her face to touch her and hope that he is not dreaming. When he is able to touch her, tears start flowing from his eyes unchecked as he is unable to control his emotions. All while she has tears streaming down her face as well.

They close the distance and touch their foreheads to each other and continue sobbing from happiness and relief. Rachaita looks at him through her eyelashes still not able to believe that they are in front of each other again. Feeling her eyes on him, Samuel looks up as well and when their eyes meet, he doesn't even try to control his emotions.

He just pulls her close and places his lips on her. He kisses her slowly but surely not with the naivety of a boy but with the maturity of a man. It is enough to show her that he still feels the same as he did all those years ago. The kiss lasts a minute or so between them and when they emerge from it, they both have a smile on their face.

Samuel: This is what a real kiss should feel like.

Rachaita just laughs at his words from all those years ago and Samuel looks at her with a look of admiration and love. They hug each other tight, neither of them letting the other go.

That night witnessed a reunion of a long- lost love and turned an awful evening into a beautiful start of something new for both of them. Who would have thought a single sip of a soup could turn into something so magnificent?
