Chapter two- settling in

(2 weeks later)
-Third person pov-
Cam and Faye became close friends, they had 2 classes together and always sat next to each other in both. For Cam lunch was easy, she didn't think about what she was eating and who was judging her and she sat with some people from her music class today as that was her last lesson, James, Lily, Rory and Ana. She was laughing with them and as she was looking around the room she saw Faye standing at the back of the lunch hall with her food on the sticky school trays, looking lost and a bit pale. "Hey sorry guys but I'm gonna go sit with Faye today is that cool?" Cam asked, her friends invited Faye to sit with them which wasn't what Cam wanted but she didn't want to upset them so went along with it. "Hey, hey Faye are you alright?" "Yeah.....just tired". Cam maybe thought that something was up with her but didn't want to interrogate her about it, she also knew that they had sociology after lunch and maybe they could talk about it then.

-Faye's pov-
I've had and ed since i was 11. I've had it for 5 years and still I'm not used to eating around people, i knew that Cam made me feel safe but I didn't know what she would think of me if I told her about my eating disorder. Lunch was really stressful, I've been at this new school for 2 weeks and I still haven't gotten used to it and i haven't really settled in as well as Cam has but it's fine. We have sociology next and im just gonna try not to think about food. (Bell rings)
Shit i can't be late again. I started walking fast to the sociology room and i saw Cam doing the same. "Cam...cam wait up!" I shouted, she heard me and turned around, smiling she said  "hey stranger...are you okay? you looked a bit spooked at lunch". Now what do I say. I told her I was fine and to not worry about it because I'm not ready to tell her yet.

-Third person pov-
The sociology department was a cluster of  small little rooms all connected to a big corridor. It always confused the students hence why Faye and Cam were going to be late, it was 1:47pm and their lesson started at 1:45 but oh well! As they walked down the corridor they were bumping into each other causing them to giggle as they arrived in their room. "You two are late again! This is unacceptable guys you have to come to my lesson on time. Sit down" the teacher yelled. The girls gave each other a smirk before finding their seats at the back of the class next to the window. "This lessons such a bore. See that building, the tall one with the vines on it?" Cam whispered. "Yeah?", "it's abandoned and it's really really pretty....we should go after school" Faye's face light up. Finally they would get to hang out not in school, "that sounds so fun yeah, oh and there's a shop on the way isn't there? (Cam nodded) Yeah let's get some drinks from there I'll pay!" Faye giggled. Sociology was pretty boring as always but something happens that they will never forget. Faye dropped her pen and it made Cam chuckle, she went to pick it up and as she did their hands met and their warm skin touched. They shared a moment of eye contact, Faye looking into Cams greeny swampish eyes whilst Cam looked into the beaming blue of Faye's. After she retrieved her pen they sat there for a moment and then their hands met again but this time not on accident, this time they ment to do it. They sat there for the last 5 minutes of the lesson and help hands, both smiling from exitement one because they were holding fucking hands  and two because even though it was the end of the day they were going to spend more time with each other after school.
