Today is the day that I travel to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardary! The day I get to meet the famous Harry Potter once more. I am excited but kind of scared! What happens if he doesn't remember me? I have already read through all of the school books to make sure I am not behind on any classwork. It is all very fascinating. My favourite book must be Hogwarts: A History. I just can't believe my 'parents' never told me! Now I am going to be the odd one out! Joining in my fifth year!
I am now sat outside Kingscross Station waiting for Professor Snape. Yes, I have to call my own Father, professor or sir, for my own safety, apparently. I can't even tell anyone that he is my biological Father. "Good morning, Miss Gilbert".
I turn around when I heard that distinctive voice. "Hi Dad- I mean, Good morning, Sir."
"I am presuming you are ready. Lets go."
We walk into Kingscross and I reread my train ticket. "Platform 9 3/4?! Dad- I mean, Sir, no offence but there isn't a Platform 9 3/4. Look, there is a Platform 9 and a Platform 10. Nothing inbetween."
"Miss Gilbert, are you forgetting that we can do magic? You simply run straight through this wall to get on to the Platform"
Is he crazy?! Is he trying to knock me out or something?
"LILY!" I hear someone run upto me. I turned around and saw Harry with a lot of red haired people and a black shaggy dog. As I was look at the very happy people, Harry flung himself at me.
"Well, hello there. Missed me or something?" I winked at him. Two other people walked over to me.
The ginger haired boy said "Hello, I'm Ron Weasley by the way."
Then it was the curly brown haired girls turn to introduce herself"And I'm Hermione, Hermione Granger! And you are?"
"I'm Lily Gilbert!" I shake their hands. The dog started barking loudly when I said my first name.
"Yes, Harry did tell me about you. I have to say, I hope you are placed in Gryffindor. It will be great to have some female company."
"Gryffindor...?"
Now it was Harry's time to speak. "There is four houses. Gryffindor- the bravest at heart"
"In my opinion, the best house there is"
"Ron, shut up Harry was speaking" Hermione whined at Ron.
"Hufflepuff- loyal to the end. Ravenclaw- by far the cleverest and Slytherin- the most evil" He glanced at Snape and frowned " I mean, the most cunning students in the school."
"I think I would prefer Gryffindor" The others smiled but Snape coughed loudly.
"Miss Gilbert, it is up to the Sorting Hat to choose where you end up, you better stop getting false hope. Now we better get to the train." Snape scowled at Harry.
I obviously had a confused look on my face because Harry told me he will explain everything on the train. I nodded and grabbed my trunk. "See you on the other side". I winked at Harry once more and smiled to everyone else.
As I went speeding towards the wall, everything turned black.
