Chapter 21 PT. 1: Love Triangle?

"Huh? Spring break starts in a few weeks from now?" Ashter is seen calling someone. Ashter chuckles by this,

"You must be far if you think spring break starts tomorrow, hahaha!" Ashter says, but soon, the bell rings which makes Ashter clock out early,

"Oh... Sorry Aaron, but I have to go... But let me know if you need anything! I'm just a text away!" Ashter happily says as he hangs up his phone.

It's been a few days since confronting Ein.

It's like he vanished from his sight... Not to mention he hasn't been smelling him lately. In fact... It seems that scents went off track for Ashter lately...

It was concerning to a bare minimum but it seems his word has cut Daniel some slack through the rest of last week.

But throughout this, gossip has been going around.

"Aphmau and Kai? Dating?" Ashter is now seen moments later talking to Dottie, as the two walk to their Friday Werewolf Games.

"Yep! But isn't Alpha supposed... To... Ya know...?" Dottie giggles afterward as Ashter blushes profusely,

"Daniel! Rylan! I managed to get Alpha to join us today!" Dottie says as back at home, Zina looks through...

The mother was confused, as she swipes through them... Before seeing this,

"Ms. Lake, are you free to speak?" The text says from an unknown number...

"Yes, this is Zina Lake. Whose number is this?" She responds,

"This is Derek Lycan. I have been given... News on a certain boy under your care. May I please speak to you." Asks the number as Zina's eyes darken with horror,

"No..." Zina shakes a bit, as she nearly drops her phone from these words,

"Derek!?! Now did he get my number!?!" Zina is scared out of her life as she knew asks,

"Wait... How did you find out about him?" Texts Zina back... Derek responds,

"That's none of your concerns. May I speak to you now?" Responds as a phone call is now being given.

Zina couldn't believe how DEREK got her number.

"I'm sorry sir, but I honestly don't want to speak with you behind my child's back," Zina responds before blocking the number.

She didn't know what to do.

She doesn't know how he got the number.

Ashter called beforehand to go to the local ice rink...

So Zina has time.

Upon stopping, however, someone knocks at the door. Zina's eyes widened as her skin turns pale.

Her heart beats fast as she almost collapses.

She hears a voice,

"Ms. Lake! This is Derek Lycan! Open up the door!" Derek demands as Zina shouts,

"DON'T COME CLOSER! I AM JOT AFRAID TO CALL THE COPS!" Zina shouts as the knocking vanishes, alongside a sigh.

"Ms. Lake, I need to speak to you. Now." Says the voice... Zina couldn't bear to see him again.
