Y/n suppressed a yawn, she was in fact really tired since she didn't get to sleep as much as she wished, a regular human would need at least 6-8 hours but for you it's about 10. And you never catch sleep in the end at all, because you really have no time to sleep full ten hours, you always have to go somewhere or do something. The dark circles under your eyes aren't really that surprising now anymore, you can't remember the last time you slept full 10 hours with high energy, feeling restless. "Woah, you seem tired than usual." Ashely observed, Y/n just sighed in response. She could already see her bullies whispering and laughing while glaring at her from their table, making fun of her because she's tired. That's not nothing new tho but it did make her feel bad enough. "I was planning to sleep but Bruno came." Y/n said, she really didn't want to sleep now that he was there then. "Oh-ho-ho~ Did anything happen?" Ashely grinned at her. Y/n yawned once again, God she feels so tired.

"No. We just watched a movie and halfway through he forced me to sleep, seeing how tired I was." Y/n explained, she tried to focus back on her teacher, but she could hear Ashely talk again, "He cares about your health, he sounds so kind-hearted." Ashely gasped and Y/n just rolled her eyes, all Bruno did was get worried, friends get worried for each other of course. "I guess he is kind of kind-hearted..." Y/n mumbled, remembering the time he saved her from that stand user and how he stayed with her until she fell asleep, she stared down at her fingers in silence. Anyone else would see that as a waste of time, but why did he find that differently? What made him save her in the first place, what made him stay by her side? Y/n wished she knew it herself. "You totally like him." Ashely continued to tease Y/n, Y/n just sighed and looked away. She can't let herself fall in love with anyone, not ever. If she just does, they'll deny her and she'll be lonely and broken. Does she want that? No. "Kids, kids! Please." The teacher tried to calm them down. "This is very important!" She said, in the end everyone grew quiet, maybe few whispers here and there.

"As you know, school is ending in three months. You're all grown up by now, and I'm sure you'll do well on your exam." The teacher spoke, Y/n listened to her carefully and everyone else seemed as interested. "After your exams, you'll have a prom night and--" Before the teacher couldn't continue everyone broke into cheers and talking, they all looked hyped and excited, Y/n noticed Ashely gasping like she couldn't believe what she was hearing. Y/n knew this was coming but honestly she wasn't interested in it at all. She's too insecure and she'll just embarrass herself. "Please, kids!" The teacher raised her voice and everyone grew quiet again. "I'll tell you more information in about two months from now, the exact date and place. We know nothing yet." The teacher finished, one student raised it's hand. "Yes?" The teacher focused her attention on him. "Can we bring someone who's not from this school or finished it? Like, to the prom." He asked, he looked rather embarrassed by asking but eager to know too. "Yes, it's completely fine as long as you know them." The teacher said.

"Also, I'd like to mention that a lot of people will come to the prom, there will be people from other schools too. The place where prom will be held is huge." The teacher said, everyone seemed very excited. Just at that moment, the bell rang. Y/n took her bag on her back and got up from her seat, leaving the classroom Ashely followed after her. "Woah! I can't wait, I'm surely going! We'll have so much fun!" Ashely said excitedly, before she looked at Y/n's face and her smile fell. "You're going, right?" Ashely searched Y/n's gaze for answers. Y/n looked away from her sadly. "I'm not going." Y/n confessed, almost immediately Ashely gasped. "But--but why!?" Ashely was in disbelief, Y/n looked at her best friend again. "I don't have a reason to be there, I'll just make a fool out of myself. You can make friends easily, you talk a bunch, but it's different for me." Y/n said. 'And that's why everyone makes fun of me.' Y/n wasn't really talkative, she didn't know how to start conversations and had a fear of being judged. "Oh... I see. But can you still think about it?" Ashely stared at Y/n with puppy dog eyes. Tho it doesn't affect Y/n, she agreed.
