His Parka (South Park x Y/N)

The Return

My first memory was of the snow covered town I spent my early years, I remember running around with four boys. I don't remember their names but I remember the orange coat one wore, it was the whole reason orange became my favourite colour. Day dreaming of my first crush and all is fun but to get to the point I never thought that yonks would pass and my family would return to our home town of South Park.

The snow falling as we drove pass the South Park sign was more beautiful then anything I saw back living in our beachfront house in Malibu. I think I definitely like the snow over sand, I will miss waking up to a sunrise on the beach but ey I'll get it over with it.

"Duckling are you excited to be back?" Mom asked turning to face me in the back of the car.

"Honey she can't miss what she cannot remember" dad laughs. I love my parents more then anything in this world, they are my best friends... as sad as it sounds it's true and I wouldn't change how close we are for anything in the world. Plus how many kids can say they have superhero's for parents; okay to be direct my parents are doctors so they work a lot but they save lives every day so the time we do spend together means so much more in our eyes.

"Our daughter is brighter then most med students I have dealt with, she can do anything when she puts her mind to it" Mom is a bit overdramatic with bragging about me, she had once told granny that I was top of my school when I got an accommodation award for science. Try sucking at science when your parents literally have PhDs in biological science and Mom being extra has also got one in psychology.

"Mom, dad not to sound like a normal child but I'm looking forward to meeting people at a school that isn't full of private stuck up prats. I can actually just enjoy my youth... god I'm starting to sound older then I am..." I sigh at my own cringe.

"If your old, we must be about to be retired and be sent off to a retirement home duckling" dad snickers.

"Like our little duckling wouldn't throw us in a old folks home, we will be to busy spoiling our grandchildren" mom hums, god they are actually so weird lmao and who said anything about me having kids ever.

"I ain't got no time to give y'all grandkids also im 15 not 25 so don't even think imma get knocked up by so weirdo and get on that show 16 and pregnant" I roll my eyes as the car finally pulls up in the driveway I see heaps of other teenagers running around with wooden swords, didn't realise Larping was still a thing.... It does look kinda fun not gonna lie.

"Let's get moved in!" Dad smiles as he and mom get out of the car, I was too distracted by the sword fighting to follow... I do slowly get up following dad to the front door so he can unlock it.

This is our old house, dad didn't sell it since it was his childhood home as well. He rented it out to this nice couple, they both moved away around a year ago and a few months later Mom got a job offer in South Park as a psychologist at the hospital and dad got one as the head cardiologist. So it all lined up for us to move back, I'm pretty sure both of my parents aren't making as much money as they did in Malibu but in my parents words 'money isn't why we became doctors, helping people is'.

"Duckling how about you go introduce yourself to those boys, they look around your age.. you start school tomorrow so it be better if you made some friends to help you" mom smiled before giving me a kiss on the forehead, she has a point... plus maybe I can figure out if any of them is the four boys I use to play with... I don't mind either way but it be nice to see them again..

I nod before slowly walking over to the sword fighting, It does look fun... but it's a bit childish.. like we are teenagers shouldn't we stop playing pretend yonks ago? Malibu was a lot different... I didn't feel like talking to the sword fighters so I kept walking until I found a group of boys sitting on the step of the house looking bored out of their minds.
