"That's our Vlad King for ya! The best teacher we could ever have!" Monoma announced, laughing into the half of his palm covering his face.

"There's nothing great about him" Kaminari grumbled.

"He's just a bias teacher", Kirishima said, equally unamused.

"Today's Matchup is Class 1-A versus Class 1-B, tomorrow it will be a mashup!" Vlad King explained further.

"I shall announce your teams." Aizawa stepped forwards.

He side glanced Vlad King to see if he would do anything to stop, interrupt, or insult him, and once seeing he was clear to go, he cleared his throat and faced the students.

He pulled out a list and read them off.

Everyone listened intently.

As groups were being named off, there were silent cheers or slumped grouches.

Jirou was eagerly listening for her name and who she would be up against.

Kaminari, on the other hand, was picking his left ear with his pinky finger, staring at Shiozaki with a lovesick expression.

"I don't wanna be with the pervert!!!" Ashido wailed loudly as Mineta glared at her.

The commotion snapped Kaminari back into focus and just in time too.

Aizawa had begun to list off the last match

"... And lastly we'll have Uraraka, Midoriya, Jirou and Kaminari against Monoma, Shiozaki, Honenuki, and Shinsou." He declared in his monotone voice.

Monoma's eyes flashed into the direction of his opponents, and a maniacal smile was playing at his lips.

His adversaries flinched at the evil gleam in his eyes.

Before the unhinged kid turned around again he mouthed

Beware, Ass 1-A

To them and turned on his heels, chest puffed out.

"Egotistical jerk", Jirou muttered under her breath.

Kaminari gave his receding figure the finger then stuck his tongue out like a little kid.

Jirou saw Uraraka and Midoriya heading towards an empty spot on the platform to discuss strategy, and she dragged Kaminari along with her as she approached her other teammates.

Midoriya sat with his legs crossed, intently watching the screen as the first team was up.

Uraraka mimicked his focus on the current match, but sat on her knees.

Kaminari was squatting down, back to the screen, poking a bug with a stick and Jirou sat down, hugging her knees fiddling with her ear jacks.

If it weren't for the fight going on, their group would be in uncomfortable silence.

Neither Jirou or Uraraka wanted to bring up brain storming techniques and break Midoriya's dangerously serious focus.

Uraraka fiddled with her thumbs, ever so slightly glancing at Midoriya, who seemed mesmerized.

She giggled and looked up to the screen, smiling.

Jirou smiled slightly, then sighed, anxious.

Chaos and explosions could be heard not only through the mics, but also from the distance, as Bakugou's explosive behavior erupted.
