The Elementals

Chapter One

            Odoriko, Hikari, and Tentō we're all normal humans with pretty normal lives. When they awoke from their slumber they got up, got dressed, went out, then after a long day of work they all fell back into silent slumber once again. Even though it sounds like their lives are normal what became of their world and them, is anything but. 

      Odoriko had just woke up and got dressed for the day when she walked outside only to find that her two siblings had already waltzed out of the house in time for them to beat Odoriko to the cool shady spot under the hardwood tree. The hardwood tree is where Odoriko, Hikari, and Tentō always fight to sit under because of the excruciating hot temperatures.

        Odoriko ran up to Hikari and tackled her from behind causing them to fall onto one another.

"Gotcha! No one takes the tree away from me! Don't think that you can run away Tentō." Odoriko then moves onto Tentō and pushes him onto the grassy field.

"Ok! We'll give you the tree for today. You know,I kinda have a gut felling you forgot something about today Odoriko." Hikari said with a smirk plastered onto her face the whole time she said it. Her short brown and blonde hair blowing with the breeze.

"Oh, well then, what did I forget then miss smarty pants??" Odoriko said in a teasing tone with a goofy grin attached to her pale face. Though, that grin didn't last to long.

"You Baka! You forgot that the chancellor of this region was coming to the town to check to see if the towns worth being here, wow you really do forget easily." Tentō said this while watching Odoriko's face very carefully, as if waiting for a reaction to entertain him.

Odoriko's face got somehow even paler than it was before. " Gurl- don't tell me you forgot the other thing you had to do too." Hikari said , her face now losing color.

"No, I don't think there was anything else I had to do today other than feed the cattle and collect the wheat from the field." Odoriko started to drift away into her own thoughts as she tried to remember if she had to do anything else today. Hikari and Tentō stood there, dumbfounded at how idiotic and forgetful their sister was. But before anyone else could speak their aunt raided their thoughts by saying one simple sentence.

"Odoriko! You have to get things ready for our chancellor! She's on her way! Odoriko? Don't tell me you forgot that you're representing the town for when the chancellor comes!?"

Hi! Sorry if this first chapter was a bit boring, I just needed to start off the story somewhere so that there would be time to think up of ideas (if that even makes sense).

Any way I want to show you what the characters would look like. I found some pictures of random anime characters that looked like the characters but I will try to draw them in the future if enough people like this story. Anywho these are what the characters would look like.
