Odoriko, Hikari, and Tento woke up at the crack of dawn to get the chancellors' breakfast ready so she would yell at them when she woke up that it wasn't ready yet. The three of them walked out of their house, the slight ray of sunshine flooding the ground of their town. All three of them lazily walked on the road toward the place where they usually prepare the large meals for the town. Hikari slowly opened the sliding doors and they all walked onto the hardwood floor, Odoriko almost tripping over herself in the process.

Hikari waltzed over to the kitchen countertop where Shishimaru had left a note telling them how to make the chancellor's favorite dish, Shishimaru had wanted the trio to make a good second impression on the chancellor.  Hikari grabbed the piece of paper and walked back over to a passed-out Odoriko and struggling Tento trying to keep Odoriko from falling flat on her face.

Hikari ignored the scene in front of her and started to read off of the note, her voice cracking in between words because of how she was still half asleep.

After reading the recipe

"That's what it said to do. Do we have all the materials?" Hikari finished reading everything and looked up at her two siblings only to see that Odoriko had fallen flat, face-first onto the ground while Tento just stood there with his hand glued to his face. "I couldn't hold her any longer, so I let her fall." Tento sighed, staring straight at Hikari whose face was forming a smile.

Hikari strolled toward Odoriko's lifeless-looking body and chopped her in the back of her neck as hard as she could. "OWWW! What the hell Hikari?!" Odoriko leaped up and awoke in the blink of an eye, her face fuming with a look that made a chill bounce up and down Hikari and Tento's spine.

After about an hour of Odoriko chasing the other two around the room, they were all finally out of breath and all collapsed onto the cold, hardwood floor.

"I think we should get to work on the real reason we got up so early, am I right or am I right?" Odoriko placed her hands behind her head and turned to look at Hikari and Tento. "You're right Riko, we should get to work. Tento, get your lazy ass up and help me with the recipe."

"Noooooo, why can't I just lay downnnnnn." Tento started to roll all around the room whining and refusing to get up. Odoriko then hoisted herself up so she was standing up straight. She then full-on ninja kicked Tento in the stomach, and Tento shot straight up. "Oh FINE, I'll help." Tentō shouted, holding his stomach. All three of them walked over to the kitchen counter and started to get the ingredients listed on the piece of paper that contained the recipe.

3 hours later

"WERE FINALLY DONE, OMFG." Odoriko flopped onto the hard floor face first. "Oh, don't be so dramatic Riko, it took only..." Hikari glanced up at the ancient clock sitting on a sideways and half broken shelf, only to see that the time was indeed later than all of them had thought.

"SHIT, ITS 7:30!" Hikari yelled into both of the other's ears, almost turning them deaf. The trio shot worried glances at each other before quickly rushing to get everything ready because of how they only had 20 minutes.

15 minutes later

They had finally gotten everything ready in time as the three were standing in the dining hall with their formal wear on and the food spread across the table. They were all standing around the table for about ten minutes before Shishimaru, Akari, and Miho the chancellor all walked in.
