The sun shining through the glass doors pulled Cheryl from her sleep, her face morphed in disgust as she realised Tabitha was snoring in her face. The redhead slid out of the bed careful not to wake up her best friend and stepped outside on to the balcony instantly feeling the sun rays warm up her skin.

Cheryl took a seat on the chair as she looked out to the beach across the street before pulling out her phone, she scrolled through her social media and liked a post of her group of friends that Veronica had uploaded last night.

The redhead could see everyone tagged in the photo except for Toni because she had blocked her four years ago, Cheryl thought about if she should unblock the brunette now she had moved on with her life. Maybe they could be friends or at least acquaintances even though she'd always want more than that.

She hesitated for a moment before she unblocked her ex, she couldn't bring herself to look at her profile right now, she was still trying to take in the fact that she was in such close proximity with the love of her life. Her thoughts were interrupted by Tabitha sliding the door open and taking a seat in the chair across from her.

'What's on your mind this beautiful morning' Tabitha said as she squinted her eyes while they adjusted to the sunlight.

'Just the usual, I've just unblocked Toni on Instagram' Cheryl shrugged.

'Oh have you looked through her profile?' Tabitha asked.

'No way' Cheryl shook her head 'I'm not ready to see her living a happy life with Ashleigh'.

'Well have you at least made sure it looks like we're in a relationship on your profile?' Tabitha asked.

'None of my posts have captions we're good' Cheryl said as Tabitha pulled out her phone to check.

'You know we do kind of look like we're in a relationship in some of these posts' Tabitha laughed.

'Yeah well that's a good thing' Cheryl smirked 'thank you again for doing this for me'.

'Of course what are best friends for, just hope I don't meet a hot man and cheat on you with him' Tabitha joked.

'Don't you dare' Cheryl raised her eyebrows.

'I'm joking... maybe' Tabitha teased 'we should take a photo now though, get into character'.

'Good idea' Cheryl agreed.

Tabitha stood up and moved behind Cheryl wrapping her arms around her neck and placing a kiss on the redheads cheek as she snapped a photo.

'Looks good' Tabitha said 'we make a hot couple'.

'We do' Cheryl laughed 'we should get ready to go to the beach soon'.

'Oh yeah I'm looking forward to this' Tabitha grinned.

'Don't get any ideas' Cheryl said as she followed Tabitha back inside.

The pair changed into their bikini's before pulling on a pair of shorts and a tshirt each. They packed a bag with towel, water and sun lotion, once they were sure they had everything Cheryl texted Betty to see if they were at the beach. The redhead wasn't surprised when they said they were already there.

Tabitha took Cheryl's hand in her own as they reached the beach. 'Showtime' Tabitha grinned as they approached the redheads friends causing Cheryl to laugh. After what Tabitha heard Ashleigh say on the phone yesterday she wanted to outdo the blonde woman in every aspect, starting with her being a better girlfriend to Cheryl than Ashleigh is to Toni.

'Hey you two' Josie smiled from her seat between Sweet Peas legs.

'Hey guys' Cheryl smiled as Tabitha waved.
