Third POV:

She ran, panting through the busy streets of the city. Her white prison outfit swaying in the sun. Despite her adrenaline rush and laughter, tears streamed from her eyes onto the pavement below. The wind didn't help, it made her tears sharp and painful.

Sirens echoed in the streets. She was getting annoyed of the same sound that'd been trailing behind her since yesterday. At this point she thought she'd gone crazy, since the cops started to all look the same. Could she have beaten them to a pulp? Yea. But she wanted to keep their eyes with anticipation. 'They might start to get bored and not chase me anymore' she thought. See? She's able to care for people.

Maybe she's a lost a bit of sanity, to society at least. If you really think about it, it's like playing a game of tag. God she loved the feeling of escaping. From when she was a kid, all the way into, well, 25 years old.

Hearing the sirens closing in, she, by instinct, made a left turn, right into traffic. The sound of multiple honks and scolding repeated in her ears. Hopping over and around the cars with a constant "sorry", "my bad", "weathers looking nice huh?" types of comments, she spotted a shop across the street. "XJ Land.." she mumbled. Lost in a trance, forgetting what her situation was, cops got a head start to hop out of their cars onto the streets. Not being able to let traffic hold them up any longer.

Slightly jumping at the sudden force of wind she raced into the shop. She entered softly, to avoid suspicion. It's not like she was gonna stay for long.

BONG. BONG.

A man with black hair and gold-ish blonde streaks turned around with a bag of opened cat food. Eyes meeting with the woman who just walked in.

"Welcome to XJ Land, the pet shop of wonders, is there anything yo-"

'Shit, there's no time, their fucking coming' she thought looking outside the window.

Cutting him off she headed to the back of the shop "Yeah, a place to hide for an hour" she yelled.

"Huh...what do you mean 'hide' is this one of those games like in horror movies" he replied following her.

Yet, that would lead to a interesting journey...
