Chapter 1
/Rose's P.O.V/

We just got back from dropping of Maddy my half sister and best friend in Des Moines. You see my dad had a secret affair and he had a child with someone else.
\\FLASHBACK\\
The woman that my dad had a secret affair with stopped by my house and told my dad that she had a kid and it was his. I was seven years old when this happened.
My dad told me to keep it secret and tell no one. My dad went to visit her every other weekend and took me with him. We would use the excuse saying that we were hunting or fishing.
It turned out that we are the same age and we became best friends she even goes to my school. She would often come to my house as a "friend." Nobody knew that she was my sister and there were no pictures or records of her in our house.
......10 years later/present day...
/Maddy's P.O.V/
Rose and I were at the mall shopping for our own birthday presents together our birthdays being on day apart.
"Okay dad left us here for three hours and we then have to leave." I said.
"He will probably forget about us and we can just stay longer." she said not caring and eating her ice cream.
"Whatever," I said knowing she wasn't going to care anyway.
"Why can't you be more care free like me?" she said to me and with that I turned around to look somewhere else because all the bad memories came flooding back.
A man with a microphone and a camera man came up to us and started asking questions.
"Did you know Zayn Malik quit One Direction?" He said to us pointing the microphone at us.
In that moment I turned to Rose with a confused look.
Rose spoke for the both of us. "Your interrupting my conversation." She said as I turned and gave her a death glare.
"Rose please don't be rude." I turned to look at the man with the microphone. "Who is One Direction?"
"Only the biggest band around, but we will go now and not disturb you anymore." and with that he left.
"The biggest band around who are they and why haven't I herd about them." Looking at Maddy.
"I dont know your the one thats into all the music" I said looking at her.
"Yeah I know and if they are so good how in the world haven't I heard of them?"
"Should we look at them?" I said looking at Rose.
"nah if I haven't heard of them they might not be that good."
"ok then"
After we finished our ice cream we finally went shopping for our birthday gifts for each other.
~2 hours later~
/Rose's P.O.V/
"Hurry up Maddy I really want to go to hot topic!!!" I said really impatient.
"I'm going let me pay calm down." She said to me with an annoying face she always does when she gets hurried.
"ugh well go faster because they will close soon" I said trying to trick her so she could go faster.
"ok! ... WAIT they wont close your a lier"
"and your point is?" I said with my I don't care face.
"nothing" as she ran passed me into a beauty shop so I would be forced to enter to get her.
I hate beauty shops i'm not really a girly girl I could consider my self as a bit as a tomboy but I could dress u if I have to.
"ugh why do you have to be so difficult?"
"BECAUSE ITS A FREE CONTRY" she said yelling from in side the store.
I sadly went in and she sprayed perfume on me!
"WHAT THE HELL! ew disgusting why would you do that!
"Because you i want you to smell like um.. cucumbers?"
"what kind of perfume is that! I don't want to smell like fruit!"
"Cucumbers are vegetables stupid."
" I don't care its gross" looking at her with a my "face."
"ok now we can go to hot topic"
"thank you I guess" saying with confusion in my voice.
After buying our gifts for each other I called my dad to come pick us up. It was 7 O'clock when he picked us up.
