I wake up at 9:40 am, dreading school... IM LaTe!!! Wait a minute, it's Anne's birthday! Aw man, I'm in trouble. I get up and get ready, and soon leave the house. I didn't say goodbye to my parents because they were already at work, I'll see them after I get home from school anyway. I soon arrive at school and head to class.. biology.. greaaat. *time skip* I go in the hallways to see Sasha and Anne leaving (idk pretend they didn't leave early Lmao) "where are you guys going?"I ask, and Sasha answers. "I'm taking the birthday girl out, wanna come?"She asks. "Actually I have plans.. but I'll meet you after."I say, and Anne and Sasha already know who I'm talking about... you see I'm in love with my best friend, Marcy Wu, and she and I have plans to study today Not because I need it, but because I pretend I do... also I'm failing basic math but whatever. *another time skip bc I'm lazy* Siting in the library, I watch her read a book silently looking to ask me an answer... she takes my breathe away even when she's doing basically nothing. I can't help but stare.. and look away in case she catches me glancing her way. "Y/n... Y/n?"I hear as I snapped out of it. "I got a text from Sasha to meet her for Anne's birthday"Marcy says, and I completely forgot.. again. "(Creeper)Aw man, I told them I would meet them there.."I say getting up, and getting my bag. Marcy smiles "You're so forgetful"She laughs "And you're so clumsy."I say back, and we both laugh and I can't help but blush slightly. "Well I have to meet with my parents, so, meet you there?"She says and I nod as I head out.
A little bit later I arrive at a coffee shop and they have unicorn fraps. I get a chair next to them. "You guys are lucky, I have no money."I say. "What happened to your allowance?"Anne says "I spent it on a gift for you"I say and hand her a keychain with a picture of us. "I love it, Y/n"Anne says "HA, you call that a gift?"Sasha says. "I mean.. yeah, why?"I say. "I took Anne out on an awesome birthday girls trip."Sasha says. Not everything is a competition. "Well I think mine is pretty good too."I say And Sasha gets a text. I've been living with this nice frog lady, named matilda. (idk) We live in a cute cottage in the forest, it's not near any towns really so we go on trips to get groceries sometimes. I'm in my room messing with things I found in my backpack, because I was late from school and I knew it was Anne's birthday that day so I dumped my books out for stuff to bring. I brought a mini makeup mirror, which really came in handy, and chapstick (or lipgloss) and I brought my phone but it doesn't work here... It's been months since I've been here, I made a few friends but I can't help but miss my best friends. Especially Marcy... "Man, I wonder what I put in here"I say and empty more stuff out of my backpack. Yikes, a trashy teen magazine... I must read it now. *an hour goes by* Matilda walks in, and I'm completely distracted in this magazine. "Is this another.. human thing?"She asks and I nod "Uhhhh huuhhhh"I say, not paying attention to anything she's saying really. She rips it from my hands "HEEYY!!" I say "I need you to get an ingredient from butterfly valley." She says "Oh that doesn't sound half bad."I say, out loud to myself "Yeah they like to eat the skin of frogs." She finishes "And there is the weird turn of events."I say. "I need to finish my new medicine for the spots" she points at her spots she got from being sick "Ok.. but how do you know they don't like human flesh." "Well, we will just have to wait and see I guess."I roll my eyes as she hands me a list of what she needs, and hands me a map. Looks like butterfly valley is deep in the forest.. not scary at all.
