Darien - I know you're in here K....
Peeping around the shelves, I watch as Darien makes his way up the stairs slowly, the moonlight, shining through the small windows of the basement, being my only source of light. I close my eyes and release my breath as I turn to squat back down...
Darien - Found ya. *he smiles connivingly as his face meets hers*
K.C. - AAHHH
I jump awake in my room in a panic screaming and hyperventilating. Crying. Beads of sweat make their way down my forehead dripping on my chest, the sheets drenched as if a rainstorm occurred inside.
Kira - Sweetie!! Are you okay?
She tries to comfort me but jumps at the feeling of a cold wet bed.
Kira - Come on K you can just sleep with us tonight you're bed is soaked.
She guides me out of bed and to the dresser for a change of clothes.
Kira - You're freezing hun, let's go dry you off.
I walk with her still drowsy but shook up and shivering. She dries me off and dresses me as I begin to tear up.
Kira - Oh baby come here. *rests KCs head on her shoulder and rocks her* I know its rough right now but itll get better. Until then we're here for you okay? I love you baby.
K.C. - *sniffs* I love you too ma.
Kira - Come on lets go to our bed we'll change your sheets in the mornin.
I wipe my face with my shirt and hug my mom as she guides.
Kira - Craig...Craig, *shakes him a little* Craig scoot over, K is sleepin with us tonight.
Craig - Huh? Alright. *says in a groggy voice half asleep*
K.C. - Mom, what if I don't want the baby?
Kira - That's completely up to you sweetheart it's your body and no matter how evil the men that forcefully gave it to you, may we find them and give them hell, it's your baby, and your body, not theirs. Whether you decide to keep it or not is up to you and no one else. Either way, we will be alright, we'll all be right by your side in you're decision okay?
K.C. - *softly smiles* thanks ma.
Kira - You're welcome baby. Now come here. Let's get some sleep. *pulls KC close and snuggles her*
K.C. - ...What if I have another ni—
Kira - Your father and I are right here to save you from anything and everything, just don't you worry okay?
K.C. - Okay...*lays her head down and closes her eyes*
Kira - *kisses her forehead* Love you pumpkin.
K.C. - I love you too..
Kira POV
Unable to sleep I thought to myself, how...how could we let this happen to her? Not once..but twice...Two men who have been in our home, I fed those boys. They stayed for movies and dinners, and..and...Brett even worked for the Other Side and I let it slide. How could I let that slide? We should've never brought The Organization into her life. This never would've happened if we had just..No..I need to be strong for her. I need to be strong, for this family.
