Soulmates is the person you're destined to love and have relationship with or whatever. It is normal for a person to have 2 or 3 soulmates. 4 soulmates is their definition of ‘Once in a blue moon’ and yes I said ‘their’ because for us it's definitely nothing compared to you who have 9 of them
Soulmarks are well, marks that represent you soulmate. It can be a picture or drawings of anything from animals, to sunsets, to logo, or on rare occasion, Even words, numbers and letters. When you and your soulmate are in the same place at the same time like a shop or a park you will feel a pull towards them or a tingle. But only when you make eye contact with your soulmate that you will feel your soulmark burning. The burning sensation will only stop if your soulmate touches their mark on you.
Let's not make things complicated and for this story, your soulmates are also mated to each other. (EXCEPT FOR THOR AND LOKI BCOS THEY'RE BROTHERS SO LET JUST SAY THEY'RE PLATONIC SOULMATES)
