Our sail open wide to the stars of our trail,
As far out solar winds do blow without fail.
Through voids vast and empty the ship she shall go,
To what distant wonders in time shall we know.

By stars bright and glistening out in the night,
Through nebulae diffuse and yet what a sight!
Near planets both rocky and gaseous forms,
Through galaxy we'll travel come any storm!

Home world is behind us ten thousand light years,
Steady on our course we proceed without fears.
To distant horizons we sail forth to meet,
With friend or with foes to the stars with our fleet!

By stars bright and glistening out in the night,
Through nebulae diffuse and yet what a sight!
Near planets both rocky and gaseous forms,
Through galaxy we'll travel come any storm!

We've sighted our destination, the star port,
A citadel mighty, she's heaven's own fort.
With planetary giant's gravity assist,
Through peacetime or battle we'll ever persist!

By stars bright and glistening out in the night,
Through nebulae diffuse and yet what a sight!
Near planets both rocky and gaseous forms,
Through galaxy we'll travel come any storm!

Across the galaxy our navies do sail,
To explore or wage war without any fail.
When once our ancestors sailed aqueous seas,
And now stars around us our ocean shall be!

By stars bright and glistening out in the night,
Through nebulae diffuse and yet what a sight!
Near planets both rocky and gaseous forms,
Through galaxy we'll travel come any storm!
