"well that was exhausting.." espresso complained to latte as their Uber driver took them back to their small apartment after along day of performances.

"Well you can say that." Latte manged to say before laying on her little brothers lap, sweat dripping down her face.

Usually espresso would push latte off or groan , but he was to dizzy and tired to move. Only him hearing the knights babbling about his concert in the other car that happened after his and his sisters.

Well espresso who was the drumnest(I hope I spelled that right-) of the band felt something... different about Madeleine. His soft suddle smile allured espresso and he couldn't stop looking at him.. maybe it was just cause somebody drugged his drink? Well whatever it was Madeleines small chuckles, made his face turn red not in anger Nono in romantic interest for some reason. He didn't know why but.. he felt like he needed Madeleine.

was he... falling inlove.. with Madeleine...

espresso refused to believe it since Madeleine was out the WOMB espresso knew he hated him. (Yes I hc espresso is 1-2 years older than mads so what.)

Espresso kept looking at Madeleine wobly smiling, he couldn't help himself..

Lattes pov🤪

We were halfway through the long drive I saw something off about espresso most of ride, just gazing into his eyes. I'll admit Madeleine was very handsome but espresso had never showed interest in him. He was always "Madeleines such a __" or just insulting him but this time it was different.

As we got out the car me and Madeleine started walking into the apartment, I soon noticed that espresso wasn't here with us. I looked back to see espresso passed out in the car.

-3rd person-

Espresso woke up with his head killing him, everything was blurry and unclear to him.
"where am I.?" The mage asked.

"Oh your in my room!" Latte said she continued "Mads carried you up here-" "he what." Espresso looked at latte with his face red not from anger.

No doubter he had a crush on Madeleine. (Who wouldn't😈) but little did he know.. Madeleine was head over heels for him.

"Well yeah and-" latte was about to finish before somebody called her down.

-2 minutes later-
Somebody knocked on the door. "Come in!" Espresso said . Ofc it was Madeleine with a cup of tea and his hair In a ponytail with a brown/blue ribbon.
"are you...okay?" Madeleine said as he sat down next to the bed the mage was laying in.

"I- I'm fine why do you care?" The mage said questioning the knight. "Well- your more than a friend to me espresso of course I would care!" The knight said while giving the mage a cup of tea and massaging his hand which had scars.

Espresso just looked at him in shock then smiled slightly.
