Peter blushed, seeking out aunt May and tugging Tony with him to go talk to her. May gave them both a relieved look. "Are you ok Peter?" She asked, pulling him into a hug.

Peter smiled, hugging her back tightly. "I'm fine" he mumbled into her hair "Tony kicked him out."

May looked up in surprise, smiling softly "Thank you."she said. Peter squeezed her one last time before pulling away and backing up against tony instinctively.

Tony held him close, smiling at May. "Anytime. He is precious to me." Tony said softly.Peter blushed but smiled at Tony over his shoulder.

May smirked, patting their arms. "Good. You keep treating him like he is."

They finished out the 'stuffy' part of the party and all of Tony's close friends migrated to the penthouse. "Are you coming too, aunt May?" He asked with a smile.

May shook her head. "You have fun, ok? Text me tomorrow and let me know when you're heading home ok?"

Peter nodded, hugging her and kissing her cheek. After she left he turned to look at Tony "Is it okay if I stay?" He asked softly "I probably should have asked that earlier." he laughed

"Anytime, babylove" he promised.

Peter grinned, taking a deep breath "I'm ready to meet your friends" he smiled "I hope they like me."

"They will love you" he promised.

Peter nodded, allowing Tony to lead him to the penthouse where everyone was waiting, he was a nervous wreck. What if Tony's friends didn't like him? What if they thought this relationship was a joke? There were so many what ifs floating around in Peter's head. He worried his bottom lip with his teeth as they exited the elevator.

Tony smiled at his friends, taking off his suit jacket and rolling up his sleeves as he loosened his tie. "Get comfy, babylove. If that means going to my room and stealing a shirt, go for it."

Peter smiled brightly "Yes." He groaned, heading off in the direction of Tony's room, changing quickly into one of his T-shirts and keeping his dress pants on. He held the shirt up to his nose and took a deep breath, it was clean but it still smelled like Tony and it calmed his nerves and made him feel safe. He returned to the party, seeking Tony out.

Tony smiled widely. "Hey baby, feeling more comfy?"

Peter fiddled with the shirt, giving him a shy smile "Much better." He said, trying to control his blush because Tony had just called him 'baby' in the middle of a room full of his friends.

Tony turned to his friend. "This is Nat, Sam, and Steve" he gestured. "Guys, this is Peter."

Peter gave a small wave "Nice to meet you." He said with a smile.

Tony pulled him close to his side, enduring the good natured ribbing from his friends, relaxing at the warm smiles.Peter pressed close, keeping up with the conversation and joining in every once in a while.

Tony smiled down at Peter as people started trickling out. "Did you have at least a decent time?"

Peter nodded happily, starting to clean up as they said goodnight to the last of the guests. "The second half was perfect. You have great friends."

"I'm rather fond of them" he agreed, pausing to kiss Peter's temple.

Peter smiled, tossing things away and putting dishes in the sink. "I hope they liked me"

"I can tell they did." Tony smiled.

Peter beamed "I'm glad they did."

Tony finished wiping down the tables and counters smiling at Peter. "Me too. You're amazing."
