You smell like fire, my fire

I was thinking hard while balancing on the edge of the river. Plue was also with me pumping my adrenalin to take the risk and avoid the fall.

"Be careful lucy!"

The friendly boatman shouted. I flinched even knowing that it was my daily routine. Balancing-trying-not-to-fall-and-being-warned.

Seriously though, he would be responsible if I fell.

Taking in the lingering smell of freshly baked plum pudding from town's bakery made me hungry.

I wonder what Natsu would be doing.

I brushed off those thoughts and continued my way back home.

"Welcome home Lucy!"

Natsu shouted just as he saw me.

"What?"

I pointed at the floor angrily where boxes of empty cereal were laying.

"What what?"

He looked at me pulling off that adorable innocent look.

I smiled slightly and brushed it off. Picking off the empty boxes I threw them at the back then offered Natsu some juice.

He just stared at me.

Creepy.

Natsu seemed to think about something.

Wait! Natsu never thinks.

"Oye... Lucy? Why are you smelling like fire?"

He asked while making that cute confused face.

"What is wrong with you? Why so weird? Did Gray hit you hard? Erza punched you? Or maybe was it Gajeel? Or-"

I rambled. Flustered by my thoughts and how adorable he looked.

Slap.

He slapped his hand over my mouth and leaned into me holding me closer by waist.

"Stupid."

He murmered while smiling ever so slightly as he joined our foreheads.

He pecked my nose lightly then slowly pulled away.

Unable to hide my blushed I narrowed my eyes at him.

"There was not a single way to make you stop babbling."

He said smirking and plopped down on the chair.

"I wasn't babbling you idiot."

I said in my defence, crossing my arms I stood in a stance.

"You want me to shut up your babbling again?"

He said with a mischevious grin on his face.

A shiver travelled down my back as I looked in his eyes.

"Knock it off now."

I tried to release that suddenly increased sexual tension in my apartment.

Short enough Natsu began to whine how hungry he was and how heartless and emotionless person I was for making him wait for food.

Seriously?

"What do you want to eat Happy? I've got some fish!"

I yelled from the kitchen. Without waiting for his reply I began searching the counter.
