Sun was out.

I was still feeling sleepy. It had been more than a week. To be frank, I am used to sleep with Natsu by my side. I was beginning to crave for his warmth.

Natsu is gone for a job with happy.

Again.

They went on without me because I was not feeling good for the past few days.

I did my daily routine, changed my clothes in a light blue folded sleeve shirt and dark denim shorts with brown combat boots.

I called plue out for company untill I reached the guild.

I didn't bother about breakfast so I decided to buy something from the bakery in the way. I spotted Erza's favourite strawberry cake and decided to buy it for her.

I opened my purse and after paying the bill I nearly bawled my eyes out. It was almost empty. My rent was due and my cheerful mood transformed into a panic cum sad cum determined mood.

I rushed to the guild running like a wild bull huffing.

No offense Tauras!

I slowed my pace where Erza was sitting, silently put down her cake and heard her saying thanks. I flashed her one of my brightest smile.

I sprinted towards the request board, grabbed that request which asked for a celestial wizard, got it stamp by Mira and ran towards the train station.

The job was pretty easy. I had to taje down a celestial spirit who was targeting public infotainment places such as railway museum.

Funny right?

Well it worked out smooth enough.
I even got that spirit's key. His name is Viagra. The spirit of brain power. I have got to admit that its pretty strong and I am lucky to found a new friend like him.

I was on my way back to train station but the request holder asked me to stay the night as it was soon already pitch black outside. I hesitated but eventually agreed.

The job alone took five days and now here I was. I was dying to meet and catch up with Natsu.

Next day I headed back to Magnolia. It was almost night when I arrived and went straight to my apartment. I decided to visit the guild tomorrow early morning.

On my way I encountered a group of muggers. I was very tired and those pathetic muggers turned out to be wizards too. There were three of them.
I was about to pass out when Loke appeared. He tackled two and I had to deal with one. After a long struggle I knocked him down with the help of my whip.

"Are you okay Lucy?"

There was general concern on his face.

"Yeah."

I offered him a small smile.

"Look at you. Acting all mighty huh? Well nothing is serious. You are just very tired and worn out."

He chuckled.

"Comeon. Help me."

I whined and hold my arms out childishly.

"At your service mam."

Loke winked at me. He held me in his arms bridal style and carried me to my apartment.

"You can always count on me, your friend. Take care."

I heard him murmur.

He went back and a smile light up my face.
