Zoe and Luka Get Ice-cream

'Thanks for playing your best Luka!' Ladybug said as he gave the violin back to her.

'Anytime Ladybug' Luka smiled as he went over to comfort Zoe.

'Miraculous Ladybug!' Ladybug said as she threw the violin up in the air and Chloe had now detransformed.

'Ugh, what happened? What am I doing here? And why do I feel so sad?' Chloe sniffed.

'Pound it!' Ladybug and Cat Noir said together as they did their signature fist bump.

'I'll take Chloe back home m'lady!' Cat Noir said.

'Wait, I get airsick! Aaaahhh! Chloe yelled as Cat Noir swung away with Chloe under his arm.

'Are you okay Zoe?' Luka asked as he hugged her, with so much worry in his eyes. He was really starting to care about her, she had opened up a lot to him, even if she didn't want to.

'I feel much better now, thanks Luka' Zoe replied.

Pigella came up. 'I have something for you too! Gift!' she said as she gave her a magical present. 🎁

'It shows you your deepest desires. Take a look!'

It showed Zoe laughing with all her new friends and Chloe and her making up. Zoe smiled.

'Of course, you want to have fun with your friends and to reconcile with your sister!' Pigella said happily. 'Oh...and go and get ice-cream at Andre's...with Luka?' she giggled.

'What?' Zoe exclaimed and blushed. 'No, how did that get in there? I mean...'

Luka smiled. He took hold of her hand. Zoe gasped, still blushing as she looked up at him.

'Actually...I'd like that Zoe. I think I'll text everyone else and postpone rehearsals until tomorrow. I'm sure they won't mind. You need to recover a bit after your ordeal today.'

'Thanks Luka' Zoe said shyly, still blushing.

'Aww!' Pigella said sweetly and Ladybug smiled.

Ladybug's earrings started to beep. 'Oops, better get going!'

'Yeah, me too! Bye Zoe! Feel better!' Pigella called out as they went and Rose quickly detransformed in secret and gave the pig bracelet back to Ladybug before running off to let Ladybug detransform.

Juleka came up from below deck with her headphones in. She saw Luka and Zoe there alone.

'Hey bro, hey Zoe. I was just listening to dad's new album. Did I miss something?'

'We're postponing rehearsals til tomorrow sis' Luka replied. 'Zoe just needs a friend to talk to right now.'

'Oh, that's cool' Juleka replied. 'I might just go back downstairs and listen to more music then. See ya later'

'Bye Juleka' Luka and Zoe replied.

Rose texted Juleka:

'I think Zoe is totally crushing on Luka! And I think he likes her back!

Juleka replied:

'Yeah I saw they seem kinda close. I'm glad he's finally able to move on from Marinette.'

'Yeah, they look so cute together!' Rose replied.

Luka led Zoe to a seat near the bow of the boat and they sat down to chat.

'That violin playing was beautiful Luka. I've never heard anything quite like it before' Zoe said with a smile.

'I'm glad you liked it Zoe. It even seemed to affect Chloe too' Luka smiled in reply.

'Yes, I need to have a talk with her later. I think she jumped to conclusions about me before actually getting to know me better. I'm sorry that you had to hear all that and see me at my weakest. I didn't want you to feel sorry for me, or judge me, or treat me any different' Zoe said sadly.

'Weakest? No, Zoe' Luka smiled warmly, holding her hands. 'It takes a strong person to open up like that. I know that it was against your will but I'm glad to be one of the first people that you opened up to. But you want to know the thing that impresses me most about you?'

'What's that Luka?' Zoe asked.

'That in spite of all these things happening to you, you're still one of the nicest, sweetest girls I know. Most other people would become bitter or cynical towards the people around them. But you remain positive and see the good in everything and everyone. That's what I love about you' Luka smiled warmly.

Zoe blushed and looked away hoping he wouldn't notice, but he did. He found it adorable and giggled.

'You really think so?' Zoe smiled shyly.

'Absolutely' Luka replied softy, as he leaned closer to her and kissed her lips gently.

Zoe blushed the deepest shade of red as she closed her eyes and enjoyed the feeling of Luka's warm lips against hers.

When they finally pulled away, Luka smiled and said, 'Now, how about that ice cream?'

'Sounds great!' Zoe replied as they walked hand in hand to find Andre's cart.

As they walked, Luka took hold of her hand and smiled. Zoe blushed.

'When did you start liking me?' Zoe asked him shyly.

'About a month after my birthday party where my parents got akumatised' Luka replied.

'I thought you still loved Marinette' Zoe replied.

'I did, but I'm happy to just be friends with her. And not long after that I came to realize that her and Adrien are meant to be together'

He remembered the career expo and finding out their identities. He sighed.

'Besides, I've come to realize that maybe you and I are meant to be' Luka said as he kissed her hair. Zoe blushed again.

'When did you start liking me?' Luka asked her.

'About the same time as you' she replied

They both smiled warmly at each other.

When they found Andre he smiled. 'Ahh Luka, pink for her hair and blue for her eyes, I knew your love would someday materialise!' he winked as he handed him the ice-cream.

'Thanks Andre!' Luka smiled, as they sat down and fed each other the ice-cream. After that Luka walked Zoe back to the hotel.

'See you at rehearsals tomorrow' Luka smiled. 'They start at 2 but if you wanted to come at 1 again, I wouldn't mind' he giggled.

Zoe giggled too. 'Sounds great!' she smiled.

'Bye my love' Luka said softly as he gently kissed her again. Zoe sighed happily.

'Bye my prince' she smiled as he waved and started to walk back to the Liberty.
