Arya's eyes widened. "Axel?"
Axel stared up at her in shock. "Arya? How'd you get up there?"
Arya frowned. "I don't know. How'd you get down there?"
He scowled. "I don't know. I woke up down here."
"Same story here. I woke up on this bed." She gestured behind her, even though he couldn't see it. He scoffed.
"Lucky. I woke up on a horse."
Arya gripped her head. "Where the hell are we?"
Axel sighed. "I dunno. We'll figure it out. You got anything there that can help me climb up this fucking tower?"
Arya frowned, glancing back. Automatically, her eyes landed on the white-gold braid weaving throughout the tower. She bit her lip, glancing back down at him.
"Hold on." She grabbed the soft ends of her winding hair, throwing it over the ledge. She lowered it down slowly, glancing down. She watched as Axel grabbed it, holding it up in amazement.
"Holy crap. This is hair!"
"No shit, sherlock."
"Wha—is this your hair?!"
"Yes."
"Why is it so long?"
"I don't know, Axel! Just get your ass up here!"
She watched as Axel staggered his way up the slippery bricks, yelping and cursing his way up to her. She cried out in pain as he slipped yet again.
"Bloody he—That hurt, Axel!"
"I'm climbing up a fucking tower, Arya! I'm hovering seventy feet over the ground! I've got bigger problems that your hair issues."
"You're an asshole, you know that?" she hissed, wincing as he tugged hard on her hair again. He mumbled something that she didn't hear.
She glared at him when he finally appeared. However, she couldn't keep the glare on her face for long, as her jaw went slack with shock.
He looked...different.
His hair had grown out to his shoulders, and his skin had smoothed over and gained a golden tan. His blue eyes were brighter, less watery, his lashes longer and his brows firmer. He looked like Axel, but...
An improved version.
She realized he was staring at her with the same expression on his face. "Holy shit, you look hot," he breathed, and she rolled her eyes.
"Just get inside," she growled, grabbing his arm and heaving him inside. He grunted, falling on the ground with grunt.
"Ouch," he muttered, but she wasn't listening. She paced the room frantically, thinking hard.
"Tall tower, long hair, hot prince...Rapunzel?"
He stared up at her. "Are you trying to say something?"
She glared at him. "Think about it. Everything here is so fairytale-esque."
"We've seen a total of five things here."
"Five weird things. Five things that probably don't exist where we come from."
His eyes widened. "Wait, hold up. Are you saying we're not in America anymore?"
"I'm saying we may not even be on Earth anymore. None of this may be real. For all I know, I'm in a coma, and you're just a figment of my imagination."
