This is based on the Fox version of Peter Maximoff, played by Evan Peters (because he's obviously the best). Enjoy lovelies :)
Peter watched as Scott snuck another glance at Jean from across the room, biting his lip hesitantly and fidgeting nervously. Peter rolled his eyes, scoffing as loudly and obnoxiously as he could to get his attention. Sure enough, Scott glanced at him, annoyance clear in his gaze.
"What?"
"Could you be any more obvious?" Peter snarked, "Jesus Christ, man, if you like her, just tell her already."
Scott glared at him. "It's not that easy," he grumbled, and Peter flashed a smile.
"Sure it is. You just zip over there and confess—Hey Jean, I've decided to stop being a total loser and stalking you from a distance. Maybe you can let me, the creep that's been following you around everywhere, take you out on a date?"
Scott shot him a glare. "Oh please. Tell me Romeo—when was the last time you asked a girl out? Or a girl asked you out, for that matter?"
Peter flashed a bright grin. "Oh, Scotty, Scotty—no girl can resist the Peter Pull."
Scott snorted. "The what?"
"The Peter Pull. It's this unconscious, magnetic force that makes every girl go wild when they enter a thirty-foot radius of yours truly."
Scott blinked. "You've gone mental."
"You literally collect Jean's used soda cans."
Scott flushed. "I do not!"
"What are you guys talking about?" Peter glanced over to see Jean and Jubilee walking towards them, her. He could see Scott rubbing the back of his neck out of the corner of his eyes, and Peter smirked. He opened his mouth to fully explain their conversation, but Scott beat him to it.
"Peter here was just telling me about the waves of raw magnetism and attraction that he emanates," Scott declared, and Jean arched an eyebrow, glancing at Peter dryly. Peter grinned, a little sheepish.
"The Peter Pull," he elaborated, and Jean's eyes brightened in amusement. Jubilee clicked her tongue, rolling her eyes.
"That's ridiculous," she snorted, and Scott grinned mischievously, his eyes suddenly lighting up.
"But I am very curious, Pete," he drawled out, "just how many girls have you picked up with the...Peter Pull?"
"Too many to count," Peter lied—in actuality, he had never really had a girlfriend before.
But hell, if I'm going to admit that to Scott.
"Oh really? Care to name a few?"
Peter blinked slightly, his cheeks flushing. He hadn't expected the conversation to go this...badly for him.
"Really? Not even one comes to mind?" Scott teased, and Jubilee rolled her eyes.
"Leave him alone, Scott. He's obviously bluffing."
"I'm not," Peter retorted, "I'm being totally honest."
Lying is too easy for me.
I need to go to Church.
Scott arched his brows. "Oh really?"
"Really. The Peter Pull, my dear friend, is very real." Peter instantly regretted the next words that left his mouth, "In fact, it's how I picked up my current girlfriend."
