Outside The Police Station

"Hey", I said.

She hugged me tightly.

"I missed you so much", she said.

"I missed you too Darling. So much", I said pulling away cupping her face.

I smiled softly wiping her tears.

"How's your stomach?".

"Im fine".

"She was trying to get into my head".

"I know. But you know the truth. I never do anything she said I would", I said holding her hands.

"I know. I tried hard to block it out".

"You did well. You didn't attack her", I said.

"I should've. I know dam right she pushed me. I mean she could've caused me to kill you".

"But your wife is here. Holding your hands".

"Tzuyu-ah", Miss Shong said.

She smiled.

"Hello, Miss Shong".

"Your favourite?", she asked.

"Yes, Miss Shong. Oh and please plastic cutlery".

"Of course. I never forget to give you them".

"Then who was working on that day?", I asked.

"It was my daughter. Im so sorry for what happened that day. You know I normally forbid younger people entering the top floor".

"It's not your fault Miss Shong. Nor your daughters. Have a great day".

"You head up okay darling honey", I said.

"Mhm".

She pecked my cheek and then headed up.

"You know I really appreciate your help", I said.

"I feel sorry for her. Her parents were just evil. She is a sweet young woman. I want her to feel like this place up there is her safe area. She is very lucky to have you by her side".

"Im lucky to have her. Im happy I found my way back to her".
