ASYLUM [COMPLETED]

Minas POV

Dining Room

 "Darling don't play with that", I said to Arikio, who was playing with her knife. 

"Mummy, where is ma?". 

"Ma is sadly not returning to us". 

"Oh". 

I heard my doorbell rang. I went over to the door. 

Front Door

I opened the door, shocked to see officers. 

"May we come in ma'am?". 

"Yes, you may". 

Living Room

"We come here to tell you that your wife's cause of death was not the car crash she was shot in her right temple", one of them said. 

"Eh. Shot?". 

"Yes, Ma'am your wife was shot while she was driving and the car continued to move". 

"So it's a murder case?". 

"It is. Do you know anyone who hates her?", the other asked. 

"Many people still dislike her from her past actions, but I don't think anyone would want to kill her", I said. 

"Has she had any arguments with anyone lately?", he asked. 

"Her father". 

"Do you know what it was they were arguing about?". 

"It was about me and our daughter Arikio. Her father hates me, and he tried to create a fake cheating scandal. Tzuyu confronted him. But that was like 2 weeks ago", I explained.

 "Any use of violence?". 

"He always hits her, but he didn't threaten to kill her". 

"Mummy, ma dead?". 

My eyes widened looking at Arikio. She was starting to cry. I got up from the sofa and hugged her. 

"I'm sorry darling". 

My t-shirt started to get soaked by her tears. I was trying hard not to cry myself to be strong for her right now. 

"We're so sorry ma'am for your loss", the officer said.

"Catch the murder", I said.

"That's our job. We will catch them. Thank you for answering our questions". 

 ~ Huge time skip ~

"Mummy".

Arikio climbed into my bed. 

"Hey can't sleep?". 

She cuddled up with me. 

"Mummy don't leave me too".

"I don't plan on ever leaving", I said pecking her forehead.
